We were a party of 7 from out of town visiting and wanted a good steak dinner plus a variety of other dishes since several did not want steak. Being very picky about our steaks and not familiar with restaurants in the area so we read the reviews on this one and decided to try it. What a great surprise. Let’s start with the steaks. Filets were right size, cooked as everyone wanted, tender and tasted great. Others had a variety of other dishes and all were very happy with the quality, taste and portions. The service was exceptional and in today’s environment a surprise. And the restaurant was classy, tables not crammed in and a great view of the river. Will be back next time in town.

No one told us about any specials. We heard them by listening to other tables being served. We ordered steak and it was overcooked also part of our order was not put in the system. When the replacement steak came in it was undercooked but we decided it was what it was. That missing piece of the order was smothered in cheese even though it didn’t say cheese in the menu. It was also burnt. Our server gave us a couple free drinks but it still did not make up for it. You pay premium prices and hope that the food is cooked as you expected. Also when the kitchen door opened all you heard was yelling and screaming and F bombs dropped let right and centre.

Me and my love recently spent valentines week in Niagara..this just so happened to be the steakhouse on site...AND LET ME JUST SAY THIS..OUTSTANDING..JUST ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING..surf&turf special was PERFECTION...YES PERFECTION..my love is not an omelet person but she had no complaints at all ..infact she had nothing but compliments about everything she had to eat....and believe she's a picky person but the hit it out the park with everything..Beautiful and very very hospitable staff.very engaging..we loved everything and would definitely recommend going to any and all...DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING..

The food was fantastic and service was the same. Wasn't busy when we went but it's not the busy season now. Would definitely go back in the summer and sit on the patio where the view was awesome.

We we're staying at the doubletree and after a day of travel decided to at their restaurant. The food and service were both great. My wife ordered the lobster mac&cheese which she loved. It was pricey ($33 I think) but it had the advertised 8oz of lobster and it was bigger serving than it looks in the pictures. I had the beef cheese sandwich It was shaved ribeye and was fantastic. Also had pear martini and banana chocolate martini and they didn't disappoint.
Excellent! My steak was outstanding as was the service & yummy dessert too ! I absolutely loved the gorgeous bar too ! Highly recommend!

Everything was just OK. They shortened their menu and raised their prices for new years eve. The tip was predetermined at 20%, which bypasses the waiter/waitress from being tipped based on professionalism and performance. The coffee was cold when it arrived at our table. The entire experience was equivalent to a dinner at longhorn or outback steakhouse, just triple the price.

On Thanksgiving went with family for dinner. It was the worst meal I have had in a long time. First, they could not find the reservation for our party of Five the Menu was a Thanksgiving dinner for $50.00 per person Containing turkey or ham family style side orders. Well, I ordered the ham my husband the turkey when the waitress brought my plate there was two strips of ham about half inch wide and it was cold my husband's turkey was cold the same with the rest of the guests. The side orders which you got a choice of three came to the table in little serving dishes which were so small you got one tablespoon of each side. the waitress put them on the table no serving spoons we had to ask for them two of the guests ordered soup it came to the table with it running down the side of the bowl. the kitchen workers need to learn how to send orders out the guest in a proper way My sister in-law ordered apple pie for dessert it was bought to her no utensils to eat, it with. It was not worth the $50.00 they were charging not even $20.00 The ambiance wasn't that great. Will never ever go back again.
