I have been here a few times, and Everytime has been a good time. Now I know alot of people feel they can make their own breakfast. But I am here to tell you, it won't be as good and as affordable as this place. Truly unbelievable the food is as well as the portions, found it a bit of a challenge driving back to buffalo because my stomach was so FULL..

I've had breakfast here two times, and lunch once. Have yet to try their dinner menu. Breakfast is absolutely spot on. Got the Belgium waffles. They were large and fluffy, the fruit topping was fresh, not syrupie and overly artificial. Portions were large and filling. I would say it would be the #2 spot in the Falls for breakfast behind the city market. Lunch had large portions also. I got the steak sub and my partner got a mushroom swiss burger. The steak sub was real thinly sliced steak and not chopped up steak. The lettuce and veggies on the sub were fresh, and the cheese was real provolone not processes cheese. I was very surprised, I would rank it 3rd best in the Falls behind Mariposa and the real Violas downtown. The mushroom swiss burger looked good , didn't get a chance to taste it cause my partner inhaled the burger in three bites. Must of been delicious. Only reason I could not give it a 5 star rating was the service. I know it's a mom and pop joint but on all 3 occasions there was only 1 server on. During lunch did not get a refill on my drink and only seen the waitress 3 times, once to order, 2nd to deliver food, 3rd to give the check. The place is very clean and welcoming, if the service was better this would be hands down a 5 star diner

I live around the corner and never have noticed Royal Cafe, but I'm glad I did. The place is clean, staff is friendly & greeted us right when we came in, and the food was great. We started with the onion rings and the battered mushrooms (monstrous). The draft Stella was cold and the steak n cheese wrap & Italian sausage sub were delicious. Hardy portions too. To top it all off would be the very reasonable prices. We will definitely be visiting again!

Delicious food! Great friendly service! I think that was the best Reuben sandwich I have ever had! Thick and tender corned beef and just the right amount of sauce and kraut. My husband had a wonderful gyro. Great place discovered thanks to Yelp.

Was looking for something new in the neighborhood and came across this place. I was pleasantly surprised when I went inside. The decor is nice and the atmosphere was relaxed. The food was GREAT and I will be back. Diamond in a not so shiny area!
