Well worth the drive if you're from out of town. The food is tremendous. Reservations are recommended, everything is made fresh so they can only accommodate so many patrons at a time while still ensuring timely service.
From the time we were greeted on entering until we paid the check, it was a great experience. Intimate, comfortable, balanced atmosphere - lighting, conversation, as well as music. The menu is not especially large. However it is varied , with each dish made upon ordering. The prices were surprisingly fair, making you feel your money and time were well spent . What a local gem.
We've eaten here several times and will again. It is an enjoyable experience. The food is made with quality ingredients. Bread is homemade and wonderful. This time, however, the food was not up to past standards. A little heavy on the salt. We will eat here again and hope for a better result.
