“The restaurant is very quaint, it's a beautiful historical home. The menu has a lot of variety so there's something for everyone. The food is amazing!”
“You can feel the beat of this Appalachia region's heart upon entering this diner at a moment's notice. The crowd starts with the early-rising blue-collared community at 6 a.m., and as the hours pass, it becomes a very family-orientated atmosphere.Jen and her diner provide such incredible service and delicious food for those not looking to break the bank and want to eat out.I don't know how she does it, but she does it daily and without missing a step. She'll ask what you want to eat, but she already knows - she just asks to be polite.Parking: It's on a side street in a rural, suburban like community, providing ample street parking.Kid-friendliness: Jen, the owner of Jens Diner, will always make your child feel welcome- that's just who Jen is.”
“Decided to give this a try rather than the casino restaurants for Three Dog Night. So glad we did! Drinks were excellent, food was wonderful. Half-pound burger perfectly cooked, large salads, shrimp jammers and omg, the pepperoni chips! They're a must have. The decor needs a refresh, but don't be put off. It's clean and the owners are so nice. Definitely stop in for a bite!”
“I've been here for pizza a few times, and the food is good. The inside of the place is on the dark side, but it's a bar so it matches. The bar itself is huge, and you can find regulars sitting there all the time. Friendly staff and good food.”
“The food is PHENOMENAL…like, drive to Tioga Downs just for this restaurant, who even cares about gambling kind of good. It is really some of the best sushi/food in the area. Highly recommend the TNT roll if you like sushi. Their general tso is crunchy and fresh (I get extra spicy!) as are their crab rangoons (just which you got a few more). This is honestly one of the best restaurants in the area. The best thing Tioga Downs could do would be give it a bigger/better space to help it become even more successful. This is BY FAR, the best restaurant they have on site. If Fin and Pho was in Binghamton, you’d never be able to get a table it would be so busy. The service staff is so attentive and friendly, and even being fairly busy last night everything came out quickly. Truly the only complaint I have is that Tioga Downs gave them this tiny, absolutely low effort place to run the restaurant near the stage with zero ambiance. It deserves better!Parking: Valet!”
“We absolutely love Dad's Ice Cream. The owner (we call him Dad, lol) is a great fella. He's super friendly, always up for a chat, and wonderful with kiddos. If you are in the area we highly recommend you stop by Dad's for a yummy treat!”
“This review is for the casino only. Went with my boyfriend and his family on a Saturday afternoon. It was crowded but not overly crowded. There's slots, table games, high bet rooms, horse racing , etc. we gambled a bit and won a bit. We all had a good time. Drinks were also cheap and strong! We had two Black Russians which came to $12.50...total! Not each, but total. Casino was clean inside too. We would come back when in the area again.”
“Kenny Archibald's funeral. Ladies at the Legion did a wonderful job, very warm and welcoming, the food was amazing, thank you all so much. RIP Kenny. WE LOVE YOU”

“Went to PJs for a spontaneous date night. Food was very tasty. Service was just okay - staff seemed a bit overwhelmed with the amount of tables/tasks they had to keep track of. Food came out very quickly, but the pacing of it was not well planned. We ordered an appetizer to share and each had soup and an entree. The appetizer and soups came out at the same time, then the entrees came out before we were even halfway done with our starters. So by the time we ate our entrees, the food was a little cold from sitting on the table while we ate our soup. But overall the food was good, the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were friendly, so we'll probably give PJs another chance sometime.”
“This is MY favorite place to go to ever in Tioga County!! I’d like to say that the employees here are really nice and they got to recognize who I am as much as I loved and enjoyed eating over at this Burger King. They make really good whoppers, French fries and they also have the unique taste of the Hershey’s Sundae Pie. I really enjoyed going there and this place is my favorite!”
“This is located within the casino. Think bar food. Wraps, burgers, sandwiches, wings..etc...all at a very reasonable price. I didn't take any pictures, I apologize. Food was very good.I had a chicken Caesar salad. The chicken was grilled and had great seasoning! The chicken portion on the salad was very generous! I was also happy that the Caesar dressing was served on the side and my salad was not swimming in it.My boyfriend ordered a patty melt that he enjoyed. We also shared an order of fried pickles that was full of flavor. Was a huge portion and can easily serve more than 2 people. Service was great. I don't remember our waitress' name, but she was on top of everything! Delish bar food!”
“Crablegs are good. Some batches better than others. Wish they could start seating people at 3 instead of letting them line up for over an hour. They could still start the crab at 4. This way they could eat food on the buffet and fill up and not eat as many crab legs as they would with the current setup, thereby saving the restaurant money. A month or so ago an elderly man collapsed due to the long wait.”
“The LOVELIEST cafe and the most delightful staff and ownership. I would drive at least two hours for the homemade bagels. Do yourself a favour, hop off the highway and get your tastebuds and soul uplifted. Bonus - if you bring your kids you won’t get scowled at.”
“The first time my husband and I tried to come here it was packed and we couldn't get in. We are so glad we tried again because after experiencing ODB, it's so easy to see why they are so busy. The people that work there could not be friendlier or more welcoming. The donuts are so pretty. Very Instagram worthy. They offer delicious flavors and have new offerings regularly. They also have savory food as well! My husband and I got breakfast sandwiches that were large, hot, and buttery. So good! They also have the best fresh squeezed OJ in the area. The interior is warm yet fun. We really enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning!”
“Stopped in for a couple beers and food. Pizza and wings were good.. Service was friendly. Place started getting busy when we left. Seems like a friendly local place.”
“Amazing food! Excellent and friendly service. The beer was good too. Was on 17 looking for a local place to eat during our travels and happy to have found this place. Definitely worth the stop.”
“I go to Mario's or have them deliver about once a month over the past 16 years so I'll base this review on my approximately 192 experiences with Mario's. Always a top notch 100% authentic New York thin crust pizza baked to perfection! Every single time! Now here's where they shine: if you put veggies on your pizza like onions, peppers, olives etc, it's hard not to get a soggy pizza. Not at Mario's, the crust is always crispy, never soggy and in the 200 times I've ordered their pizza, it's perfectly cooked. I probably should have written a review years ago, guess I took this place for granted but man they are a class act. I've eaten inside a few times and the service has always been friendly and prompt. The ambiance is quintessential local pizza joint--wonderful. My employer is about 3 miles away and we always go to Mario's for special lunch events or order for on-site visitors. It's just a well rounded perfect pizza joint and the price is super affordable. Love this place!”
“A wonderful place to grab lunch. They have a great menu plus daily specials. I love the soups, always tasty. Reasonable prices and homey decor. It's a go to place whenever I'm in Owego.”
“Was there for brunch on my bday Sunday 2/25…the brunch is AMAZING. It was such a great crowd, atmosphere and our server, Melissa was absolutely phenomenal! Yummy ”
“Very friendly employees over here at this Lucky Hare. This place definitely has very good food and they also have non-alcoholic options like regular or diet sodas. Not only that, they have awesome open mics like once a week, trivia like once an other week and they also have LIVE music like every other Fridays or other Saturdays. I highly recommend going there for when you are either hungry, thirsty or when you feel like listening to some music. This place is the best!”
“I’ve lived in NYC and Philly and this pizza has to best I’ve ever had. I got the spicy kielbasa with red sauce - the sausage was spicy, jalapeños were fresh, the dough, sauce, everything was masterful. This isn’t a traditional pizzeria, it’s right next to an eponymous bar and you text the order to a number. The chef then brings you the pie from I guess his personal kitchen? Not exactly sure. The bar was great vibes and traffic picks up later at night.”
“I just love small, local diners. Where the staff knows most of the customers and your food comes out immediately. And their cheesecake options looked incredible.”
“This place is a great place to go for a drink and a hang out with friends. Plus, they have comedy on Wednesdays! Who doesn't like to do a laughing good time?”
“Love this bakery!! They have made all of my cakes from birthdays, Halloween and a Christmas cake. They also have frozen dinners of which my husband loves their lasagna.”
“Found a receipt I saved for a must stop again place, next time I visit Owego. This little smoothies shop have amazing mixed of flavors, the attendant/owner, was very nice to allow me to tweak some of the ingredients in my smoothie, I also ordered a soup, since was their new menu Item for fall. This is a small shop, great mix on smoothies flavor and tasty soups, amazing customer service with a very welcoming vibe. Yum ?Vegetarian options: Offers fruit smoothies, mushrooms soup too!Wheelchair accessibility: Is on main Street in Owego.”
“Tried the grilled Cuban sandwich, it was outstanding and very fresh tasting, price was right for a date night with the hubby, nice quiet atmosphere. Didn't rent a room.Walkability: Several small town shopsFood & drinks: A little bit of everything in the area”
“Best place you can get a drink out from Leonardo’s. They also have non-alcoholic options like regular or diet sodas, but I chose coke. The owner here is very nice, you should stop by and to say “Hi!” and buy yourself a drink whenever you are feeling thirsty.”
“Sallies is always, and I mean always a warm inviting restaurant. The servers have always been friendly and quick. Just a nice place to kick back and enjoy homespun food.”
