Yeah, it’s probably been 25 years since I last had a bourbon street steak, but when did the garlic butter replace the sweet honey glaze I remember?

However, the baby back ribs were pretty tasty, and much better than the ones Longhorn served us.

The star of the day was our server, Traci P. Just the right amount of sass with that sweetness which left smiles on our faces. Her iced water was pretty good too.

UPDATE: Ordered DoorDash pickup, ribs, mashed potatoes, cheeseburger wontons and green beans. All this for $22 using some promo code. Wonderful!”

“This will be slightly long-winded but it's necessary. Sam's is seriously the only place in The Valley where it feels like coming home after a rough day, week, month. The staff are bar-none and treat everyone there like family. I'm a Tuesday regular, for their karaoke nights, and every time it feels like I'm performing right in my living room. Inviting, supportive, caring, and warm. No egos, just encouragement. The patrons that flock to this establishment are kind, silly, respectful and fun-loving, and this is due in a massive part to their zero-tolerance policy for those that can't conduct themselves as grown adults. The atmosphere is laid back and come-as-you are; which is especially important in an area where being a little weird/alternative isn't always greeted with the warmth that everyone deserves. They provide this level of acceptance and support in spades. The food is brilliant, home style, made to order and Kim is constantly updating the menu in an effort to keep things exciting and accommodating. I adore Sam's and ESPECIALLY the staff that work tirelessly to foster a culture of respect, fun, love, talent, and making sure everyone has a seat at the table. Also, seriously THE cleanest bar and grill in the area. These folks work their butts off. If you have never been there, I can't recommend it highly enough. ❤️ You're missing out on a real gem in The Valley.”

“Amazing, friendly staff. I came in expecting a casual lunch with my cousin and left questioning why I hadn’t eaten there sooner.
First,the hot wings. OMG, the flavor was on point . Crispy outside, juicy inside, and that sauce? Pure perfection. One bite had me sweating like I was at a court date—but in the best way.
Then the garlic knots. Calling them “knots” feels disrespectful—they were little clouds of buttery, garlicky joy. Soft, rich, and that garlic oil at the bottom… I definitely blacked out for a second and came back to an empty basket with zero regrets.

The pizza? I’m from Long Island, so I’m picky—but it held its own. Crispy yet chewy crust, solid flavor.

By the end, I was full, happy, and low-key considering proposing to the chef. This place isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience… and proof that carbs are always worth it.
