“My wife and I absolutely love going to the Blackburn. We have been here about a half dozen times in the last year. Wish we went here more. The pizza is top notch and the other food is always on point. And I'm glad this app gives me an option to rate the atmosphere- the atmosphere is always fantastic.Bravo.“
“Came here for lunch. Ended up getting the steak salad. Wow, this was a rather big dish. However, it was well worth it. The server was very polite and quick to serve a drink while taking my order. For the atmosphere. Well maintained and clean, you can tell they care about their bar. I would recommend stopping in if around the “
“In my 30 years of working this restaurant has been the most pleasant and wonderful place I've worked. I am a cook there and have never worked with such amazing and caring people. The owners are not just your boss they are friends and give you a family love feeling. Tomorrow is my last day due to getting engaged and moving. I loved learning about new foods and plating beautiful dishes. The chef has a delicious and unique menu. I learned alot from him. And enjoyed working by his side. All my co-workers are wonderful and caring not to just work with but they care about customers fully!! If your ever looking for employment or want a delicious relaxing meal I highly suggest The Brimarie!!! You can't ask for better owners to work for, they are one of a kind and out of this world!! Take it from someone who works/worked there.“
“Great food at reasonable prices. I had the pulled pork and my dad had the burnt end brisket. Both were delicious. They also have great Mac and cheese and tasty corn bread and sweet potato biscuits. Also, nice homemade coleslaw. Our waitress was also very attentive.“
“I like the place. Have a hunt cabin in the area. Been coming here for over half my life. Gotten everything from, burgers, steaks, chicken , country fried steaks, their salads, and several others in between. They only really messed up my food once over the years. It has some nice Texas Roadhouse vibes to it. Just with a Pennsylvania twist. You can find Texas Roadhouse dinner rolls here, and they have those iconic mugs Texas Roadhouse serves their draft beer in too. It’s a unique place!“
“Firstly, I have never actually eaten a meal here, so I don't have anything to say about the dining experience. This review is all about ordering sauces for home-cooked wings. So anyway, my family has been ordering shipments of Alliger's wing sauce for about thirty years now. A family friend in Michigan introduced my parents to the Kamikaze sauce back in the 90's, and we've been loyal customers ever since. I was about 5 years old back then, and my parents still order Alliger's sauce to this day. I have so far seen shipments to three different states and two different overseas military addresses, and the sauce quality has never dropped or changed. As soon as I left home, it was my turn, and I'm ordering their sauce now in my 30's. The Kamikaze (hot), Garlic (mild), and Singapore (medium-ish) sauces are my personal favorites, in order of gold to bronze. They're obviously stellar on wings, but Kamikaze is also great as a richer kind of Tabasco replacement for sour Asian soups, and Garlic doubles an amazing mixer to create garlicky dipping sauces (Garlic + ranch dressing = happiness). The individual bottles are also fun to give away as small gifts to friends and family.Recently, though, I ran out of Kamikaze--my go-to sauce--and went to order online, but found that the online store was unavailable. I may have panicked a bit, but after sending an email to the contact address posted on their website (which I swear hasn't changed for over 15 years), I learned that the online store was being redone, and Jen was kind enough to take my shipping address and let me order through email instead. The crazy part, though, is that I received the sauce just two days after I sent my address and sauce request. Apparently, they shipped the package (UPS Ground) before I even had a chance to see the PayPal invoice!Although I only live a few tiny New England states away, I was still bewildered to receive a surprise sauce box of joy in the mail just a day after paying for the order. My order arrived double-boxed, with the smaller box nicely cushioned within the larger box and cardboard dividers between the 12 bottles, and in pristine condition. Their customer service has always been good when ordering sauce, but this experience was absolutely worth throwing them a long and glowing Google review.I love this place. I love their sauces. Hopefully, my own children will be fortunate enough to keep this family tradition alive in the future. Thanks Alliger's, for literal generations of tasty sauce and excellent ordering service.“
“What a pleasant surprise this spot was. In an old building built in 1882, the main hall has been transformed into a quaint little bar and grill. Staff very friendly and food was spectacular. Be sure and give this one a try…I enjoyed the building as much as the food, which was stellar.“
“Wow is all I can say. We could not have been happier with our experience at Applebee's food was awesome all of it waiter was good he even managed to put a hockey game on the TV for us he was attentive when needed food was hot and tasty. We will definitely be returning in the near future.Kid-friendliness: Gave or 2 use of daughter crowns to color plus chocolate milk our daughter enjoyed the visit as much as we did“
“It's like going to libs only you can see and it's cheaper!!Parking: There's plenty of parking,on Wednesday night,They have a golf league ,That makes it looks like they're full up, but the restaurant is not. So don't let that fool you people !!come on in and get some good food“
“Highly suggest this place for many reasons. The staff made us feel like family. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Fresh quality food. Trust me your taste buds will not disappoint. From the homemade soups, salad, burger and desserts..oh their homemade whoopie pie desserts.....but Lord Jesus they converted me with their home-made sinfully decadent pumpkin cheesecake. But the beers on tap. I feel is important that I speak sorry on behalf of their beers. I can give you my personal recommendation but in all honesty at the end of the day I have too many to suggest. So don't walk run (or drive) to this place. Keep our local business open and support them y'all. I will definitely be a regular patron.“
“This is the iconic Home Town Bar. Everyone knows of each other, and, if it's your first time in, everyone knows you're the new guy. Wonderful crowd of people who are open and friendly. The wings are done with just enough crisp yet still meaty. And with 30 something sauces to choose from there is something for everyone. I will definitely stop back in when I'm in town.“
“Go every Thursday for trivia from 6-8p and for dinner. The staff is super friendly and attentive, the food is very reasonably priced (two 1/2 off apps per table if you're playing trivia), and trivia is a good time too. Highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere different to get good or for something to do on a Thursday. For food, recommend the wings, Mooney's appetizer, or buffalo chicken wrap. Everyone seems to like the Mac & cheese as well.Parking: Parking lot across the street and on the street as well.Kid-friendliness: Laid back atmosphere where kids are welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: Have a ramp on the side that gives you access into the restaurant.“
“Great atmosphere, service and food. We had a double chocolate stout and porter to go with our pizza and it did not disappoint. The pizza had a terrific crust and thick toppings. We liked it much more than the one we had at Amelio’s in Corning (see that review for full comments) and will definitely stop back by when we’re next in town. Kudos to Allison, the bartender who took such great care of us.“
