“This will be slightly long-winded but it's necessary. Sam's is seriously the only place in The Valley where it feels like coming home after a rough day, week, month. The staff are bar-none and treat everyone there like family. I'm a Tuesday regular, for their karaoke nights, and every time it feels like I'm performing right in my living room. Inviting, supportive, caring, and warm. No egos, just encouragement. The patrons that flock to this establishment are kind, silly, respectful and fun-loving, and this is due in a massive part to their zero-tolerance policy for those that can't conduct themselves as grown adults. The atmosphere is laid back and come-as-you are; which is especially important in an area where being a little weird/alternative isn't always greeted with the warmth that everyone deserves. They provide this level of acceptance and support in spades. The food is brilliant, home style, made to order and Kim is constantly updating the menu in an effort to keep things exciting and accommodating. I adore Sam's and ESPECIALLY the staff that work tirelessly to foster a culture of respect, fun, love, talent, and making sure everyone has a seat at the table. Also, seriously THE cleanest bar and grill in the area. These folks work their butts off. If you have never been there, I can't recommend it highly enough. ❤️ You're missing out on a real gem in The Valley.“

“Where to start?! We had a great run in with the coolest bartender. Marquis was great with offering the tastiest beverages and appetizers right off the jump. I was taken back on his hospitality, as most restaurant bartenders these days are lackluster. He was personable and joked well with the patrons at the bar. Top notch experience! Thank you, sir!“

“Came through on a visit and stopped by Tommaso’s on a friends recommendation - and I’m so glad we did… It’s a hidden gem in Chemung, with delicious food, a mix of well crafted cocktails, and a staff that was on point! The owners making their way over to us to be sure we were well taken care of was everything- what a nice and humble couple! It was a great atmosphere and right on the golf course. A definite return on my next visit with more time for a round or two of golf for sure!“

So it's been a little bit since we have been here, went tonight for hubby's birthday dinner, nothing tasted the same, idk if they have new cooks or what but food wasn't as good, also it upset our stomachs which has never happened here before, a little disappointed but that's life I guess.“
