“This will be slightly long-winded but it's necessary. Sam's is seriously the only place in The Valley where it feels like coming home after a rough day, week, month. The staff are bar-none and treat everyone there like family. I'm a Tuesday regular, for their karaoke nights, and every time it feels like I'm performing right in my living room. Inviting, supportive, caring, and warm. No egos, just encouragement. The patrons that flock to this establishment are kind, silly, respectful and fun-loving, and this is due in a massive part to their zero-tolerance policy for those that can't conduct themselves as grown adults. The atmosphere is laid back and come-as-you are; which is especially important in an area where being a little weird/alternative isn't always greeted with the warmth that everyone deserves. They provide this level of acceptance and support in spades. The food is brilliant, home style, made to order and Kim is constantly updating the menu in an effort to keep things exciting and accommodating. I adore Sam's and ESPECIALLY the staff that work tirelessly to foster a culture of respect, fun, love, talent, and making sure everyone has a seat at the table. Also, seriously THE cleanest bar and grill in the area. These folks work their butts off.
