“It had been almost six years since we've been here, but it was still really good. Their brisket is amazing and all of our foods and drinks were very good. The manager really cared, personally taking care of things and checking in on all of the tables. We will certainly be back sooner this time for sure.“
“ThIs place is amazing! The music at this establishment is on point! I love the music choices as it ranges from new stuff to older stuff and everything in between. Everyone is always laughing and seemingly having a good time and it seems to be the "local bar" people turn to. I love the music videos with the music as well as it brings a better experience while there. On really busy nights it may take a few minutes to get a drink but I don't mind striking up a conversation with someone as I wait. The bartenders are all super friendly too. The interior looks to be all brand new and there's lots of seating everywhere.“

“First time ever at the Ale House on Friday 1/5/24. Been driving by it for years but for some reason we never went. Now I’m mad it took me so long to get there! What a hidden gem. Very small inside but also comfortable. The bartender/server was Erin and she is awesome. Very very nice, fun and on the ball when you need a drink. I didn’t count the exact number, but they have 20+ beers on tap and also have a very extensive whiskey selection along with all your other favorite liquors. And the food? Absolutely delicious. We had the weekly special pizza which was a white garlic base, topped with spinach, diced tomatoes, diced onions and a balsamic glaze. Amazing flavor and the dough was cooked to crispy perfection. We also tried the grilled chicken sandwich with a spicy rub. Also grilled to perfection, great flavors with L/T/O on a soft Roma’s Bakery roll. Our friends that we were with each got a different burger which looked awesome as well. Not to mention, a bunch of other different menu options I saw come out to other tables looked fantastic. All in all I would highly recommend the Ale House and I believe my wife and I will be regularly customers from now on?“
“Friend's Diner has good diner food and good service.There is a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.The diner first opened in 1983.On my first ever visit. I had the sausage biscuits and gravy with hash browns, toast, and coffee.The sausage biscuits and gravy had a nice taste to them.If you're looking good food at reasonable prices, give Friends Diner a try.“

“I have a long history with this building and it's previous owner, who is respectfully memorialized with a mural (RIP Hack). Used to be called The Pine Lounge. People who used to go to it now own it, so while the name has changed and some required changes have taken place (RIP the old record jukebox!) it spiritually feels like the same friendly place, with a new outdoors and a great local vibe. Not exactly for BU students, but not exactly NOT, either. They don't mind much who comes in as long as you're respectful. Buy a shirt. Make it your local spot if you live nearby, or if you want to escape the chaos of downtown. The pizzeria next door is actually pretty good too. Enjoy.“
“Great food! I got the Harry's Favorite chicken sandwich with tater tots. The sandwich was excellent and a bit messy. They also provided Frank's Red Hot for the tots (I'm not a fan of ketchup). Great service and highly recommend.“

“Just had a Christmas lunch with 15 people, the service and food were excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. As each person arrived, their drink order was taken and filled immediately and once everyone was seated, the food orders were taken. The food showed up shortly after.“
“We tried to go to another restaurant around the corner that’s new and was crazy busy so I asked the hostess for a recommendation on where to go where we could find a table. She recommended Amici so we went. It was our first time and we loved it! Every single thing we had was delicious. The star of the night was their pomodoro bolognese pasta dish - wow.
