Had a wonderful experience, with plenty of excellent dishes, including the bacon wrapped scallops, crab rangoon, stir fry with beef tips, and a good Delmonico steak. All courses were good, though my girlfriend did think the French Onion soup was a little on the weaker side. Dinner was rounded off with some excellent dessert, a cheesecake slice with caramel sauce, and peanut butter pie. Highly recommend, the restaurant has an intimate ambiance with small seating area. Parking is on the street only, and with limited seating a reservation is recommended on the weekend.Kid-friendliness: Draw on paper table coverings.“

“Great local bar. Good beer selection. Just in case some people are worried about the location in Elmira, there is security at the door. We saw nothing to be nervous about. My wife and I had tried a few of the local beers and ended with a couple pints of Guinness straight out of the Tap!“
“Generally Rye is great, bottomless mamosas, shakshuka, brunch burger are all delicious. Unfortunately, I've had a few experiences, particularly with the smoked salmon Benedict and slow service that I can't give Rye 5 stars.I wish I could because it has a great menu and liquor selection but I just feel they could use 1 more wait staff. I've seen the owner present a few time and he is nice and helpful. Maybe spends too much time with guests at the expense of helping the staff.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessibility is definitely an issue if you plan to eat inside.“
“Excellent food and service, nice rustic, yet CLEAN place. We were a bit wary at first because the outside looked sort of run down. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the interior. We got the fish fry, which came with a very generous portion of haddock and I opted for the side of Mac and cheese, which was homemade and absolutely delicious! The two meals came with a roll and side of coleslaw as well. The haddock was fried nice and crisp, with a thin layer of breading. The bill only came to $25 and change! We will only be in town for work for the next few weeks, bit we will DEFINITELY visit this establishment again!“
“A very nice little place with very good food. I've been there twice now and had a good experience both times. I highly recommend it for fine dining.Parking: No parking lot, but a decent amount of street parking is available, but you may have to walk 200-500 feet depending on how busy they, and other local businesses are. 1st time I parked right out front, 2nd time a 250 walk.“

“my friend and I went last week for a quick meet up, so we just ordered an appetizer to split. We got the pretzel sticks with cheese sauce and it took almost 20 minutes to get to the table. We met around three in the afternoon so it was between the lunch and dinner crowds, so the restaurant was fairly empty. otherwise our waitress, Jazz, was a gem, and the food was up to par.Parking: huge parking lot. There’s never an issue finding a place to park.“
“This was a lovely little local spot that we found while on a road trip. It was just what the doctor ordered for a lunch on a cold day.Soup & Sandwich combos for a decent price. I got the creamy potato soup with a Chicken Caesar Salad wrap. My boyfriend got the Ruben sandwich with a side of cole slaw. The ruben was hot in beautiful toasted rye bread, and "good" cold slaw according to my boyfriend that loves Cole slaw. The service was friendly and attentive, and we were in and out in way less than an hour.“
