The small hard rolls are legendary -- nobody has ever come close to matching the recipe. I have a fond memory of Mike, the patriarch, working the blazing ovens in no shirt -- simpler times. It's only got better since Gloria and Judy have taken up the mantle. Great bread, great people, unsurpassed tradition.
Opening the door to this bakery is like walking into grannie's on bread day! Fresh is the deal I had rolls fresh off the cooling rack. This family owed business takes pride in there product and are a pleasure to deal with.

My son and his family stopped in on our way home. We had to wait until a fresh batch of sub rolls came out of the oven. Everything smells great. We got the warm, right out of the oven, batch of rolls and couldn't help sharing with everyone of the three children and my son and daughter-in-law. What a wonderful experience. Best Italian bread ever.
