“The server had a hard time trying to fold/close my foot long sub because of all the stuff I asked to be put on it. He did it though. Thanks for the service and the conversation.”
“Small town Ice cream place with great ice cream, friendly staff, nice sitting area! This is my new go to ice cream spot. You gotta try the chocolate panda paws sundae!”
“This independent diner prepares the wonderful diner foods one anticipates when heading in to a diner. As soon as the door opens, the authentic aroma wafts through the air. The staff are wonderfully friendly. The service is attentive. Terrific place to stop for a bite.”
“Food was fabulous! I had the scallops and wild rice with fresh asparagus. It was perfect! I had a chocolate covered strawberry martini which was delicious as well. Our server was a little over extended but we couldn't get served at the bar and we went to a table. It was very busy as it was the day after Valentine's Day. Everyone was very friendly. I'll go there again.”
“First time here. It was the halfway point to the finger lakes so we stopped for a coffee and snack. I had the coffee with white chocolate flavor and the apple turnover which were both good. It's a cool place to check out as I love local coffee shops like this.”
“I stopped for the night in Towanda and was looking for a place to eat. The Great Wall Buffet had good reviews, so I took a chance. So glad I did! It was very busy with both eat-in and takeout customers. I was quickly shown to a table. They have two double-sided lines of hot food and some additional items on the back wall. Employees were friendly and efficient. Price was really good (I think around $12). Dessert options included many flavors of hard ice cream to choose from. I loved my meal, and if I am in the area again, I will eat here again.”
“Workers are nice, but they don’t seem to know how to make their own subs. Ordered an 18 (Ultimate BMT), and all that was on it was the meat and the cheese we added to it.. Parking: It’s Towanda, getting into *and* out of parking lots is a nightmare lmao”

“Best pizza in the world!!! I would eat a cheesesteak from here everyday if I could. I graduated with the owner’s oldest son and it’s always so awesome seeing him in there! Not gonna lie, I probably order from them at least 2-3 times a week!!! Everything here is SOOOO GOOD!!!!! Support your small local family businesses :)Parking: Right out front, about 5 or 6 spots.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp outside and it is all one floor, making it perfectly accessible!”
“They are wonderful people that work there always smiling very polite and they actually put meat on your sub where it was worth the money and makes ya wanna go back”
“I've never had an issue with this location and it's my go to for amazing food!! The staff is friendly but makes sure you get your food asap and I've never had cold food or any wrong orders!! 10/10 service all the time!!”
“We (wife and two young children) stopped by The Flying Taco while on a trip to visit family. Having visited this area various times in the past, I wasn't expecting much when it came to dining. The Flying Taco completely blindsided me. It's hip, friendly, and most importantly, it is delicious. I wish we had one close to us in Florida.”
“Stopped for lunch last week and got a Pittsburgh salad! It was great, my partner had an omelette that they said was very tasty too. Our waitress was very kind, great place for a quick diner ”
“I went in looking for a meatball hoagie, but their slices were too good looking to pass up.Huge, thin, New York style slices with a well developed crust. High quality and affordable. Staff were pretty chill and gave great service.Perfect place to stop for a quick lunch when passing through.”
“Local town staple - no fuss, no muss. Small dine-in area. They have a limited menu- pizza and wings. Costs are about what you would expect for the area - $15 for 12 wings and $25 for a large Stromboli. The wings were a nice size - but I like them crispy and the Stromboli is basically a pizza crust folded in half. Not bad - the pizza crust was really tasty. Just a bit of advice - check your orders cause there seems to be a lack of communication in the kitchen with the older lady taking the orders - seemed confused and the lady in the kitchen cooking food - missing items. Check for their specials. Still better than Vincent's who charges an arm and a leg for his stuff.”
“We used King’s to cater my baby shower this past weekend and were not disappointed. Food was delicious! Jimmy was great to work with! Would highly recommended!”
“6.8/10 on just the pizza. Great solid underbelly, even/generous toppings. Crust was easy to eat but was just a regular crust. Service was quick and attentive. Garlic Knots tasted good but could have been left in the oven a tad longer”
“We were really excited to check this place out but after driving for a long time on winding roads, we discovered it was closed at lunchtime on a Friday. There was a creature in a cage nearby. Woodchuck?***Thanks for the response and apologies to Royal!”
“1st time there since I got back home from Florida since last November ran in Paul Dodge how can it get any better.? Good service good Conversation don't get no better than That.”
“This is located near a historic theatre. The setting is great. This place was painstakingly restored to it's former glory. It was originally located in Stroudsburg Pa. Gordon Tindell restored this and brought it here to Towanda in 2005”
“Small town dinner with good to great food and decently priced. I especially enjoy breakfasts here. Have the Kitchen Sink Omelet...thank me later.Parking: When busy, parking can be an issue. You shouldn't often find this, but I have once in the past.”
“Pleasantly surprised over the quality of our meal. We have been within a 30 minute drive for five years and this was our first visit. We missed out during those years. The crab cakes are unique and memorable. My salmon was cooked perfectly and the lobster stuffed baked potato... you must try. Any place that serves warm homemade bread gets my attention. Definitely returning.”
“Just moved to town, found the most awesome local restaurant/bar. Staff is amazing, food is great. Went back the next day to try something else. Recommend the San Antonio burger!”
“Great place. Clean premises, reasonably priced drinks, and personable service. Some good games there as well, both free and paid. Kind of a strange layout with the entrance and parking, and could use some signage, but nice overall.Wheelchair accessibility: None as far as I can tell.”
“I'm not being facetious, but they really treat the customers with respect, with thier absolute honesty. Five stars is not enough.Still the best!9 ⭐ Great atmosphere. As long as you behave yourself. The number one rule. Other than that. Enjoy”
“Really good food - can't recommend enough if you are in the area. Definitely a hole in the wall but what a gem! We definitely plan to go back and explore that area more next road trip when we have more time and this will be a must stop. We got cheese steaks and French fries which were so both really good. Small details like even the onions on the subs were thick and juicy and perfectly grilled. If you are in the area for whatever reason, you aren't going to find a better stop for a very long time. This blew McDonalds and the other standard stops way out of the water. Don't miss it! Worth the turnaround for sure like we did.”
“Amazing restaurant right on Main St, Wyalusing. New owners took over in June. The food is absolutely delicious. Service is wonderful. You will not be disappointed!”
“I had the broiled haddock,it was delicious.my granddaughter had stuffed shells, she loved them.the Caesar dressing is yummy..good service, not a long wait .. everyone enjoyed their meal .coffee could be stronger, but otherwise great .”
“Good food. Very friendly staff and clientele. Great location. Right at a nice scenic overlook.Parking: Right in front of the tavern or just across at the overlook.”
“Great hometown, low key, friendly place. Service was prompt - we were greated with a big hello before we even sat down. The restaurant is very clean, nicely decorated and reasonably priced. Food is made fresh - place smells like home cooking. Be patient cause every meal is made in front of you when you order it - no heat lamps. My hubby had a burger w/ a side of mozzarella sticks and I had a crispy chicken salad - both were delicious and fresh. I posted a photo so you could see how big the burger was - served on a kaiser roll. I don't eat red meat but I was tempted to take a bite cause it looked so good. We both finished our meals and left happy and full. Stop by for some relaxing, home cooking. No fuss no muss.Parking: easy acc3ss and parking from Route 187 or Route 6.Kid-friendliness: kid options on menu”
