Lunch buffet opens at noon. If you get there at noon you are lucky to finally have a table by 12:30.....only 2 cashiers and 1 person seating people. I have been going on Wednesday for the senior discount. The food never changes and the quality has definitely gone down. I could tell you what is on the buffet from one end to the other without even looking. They last 2 times there hasn't been any turkey at the carving station...something about it "not getting thawed out...
The food is ok for a buffet, not great and not awful, just ok. The service is hit or miss, I eat there at least once a month and sometimes it's fantastic service, other times you can finish your first plate of food before you even get a drink. The atmosphere, it was very nice in 2006, hopefully as the resort nears it's 20 year mark the management will decide it's time to update and remodel. The hotel side is definitely looking very dated. Nice place to fill your hole. Wide selection of foods. Not much for people with dietary issues, but they do have a decent salad bar as well as the main buffet. Staff is friendly and helfull.
