For a high-end restaurant at a casino, I must report my mediocre and lackluster meal. My wife and I experience wedge salad and 3 onion soup with prime rib. I have eaten @PJ'S in NYC so I was excited but the meal just fell short.
We love to eat at PJs ..good food good service !! The only issue I have is I wished they would get gravy for our mash potato's !!!! Other it's a wonderful place to eat and enjoy ...Thank you Rosemary đ
We had a reservation for 5 pm. Which was when were seated . We were served our dinner at 6:25. When I asked why our food was taking so long, I was told that nobody told the hostess that there should be no walk ups, therefore the kitchen was very busy. Regarding the food, the board at the entrance and the description by the waitress was that included 3 large scallops, but when it was served she told my guest that the board and description she read was wrong and it only contained 2 scallops. I ordered prime rib, which I have there before, and when it came it had a hunk of pure fat that was at least 25% of my serving of meat. I have had plenty of prime rib and even prepared it myself, and I expect some fat on it but this was a huge hunk 3/4 of an inch thick on my piece of meat, no cutting around it or anything, just a hunk of fat. I canât imagine a professional chef serving that to a customer, nor can I imagine management not honoring the advertisement of 3 scallops , just âsorry âwhen 3 parts of the meal were all ready served (especially after waiting an hour for the first part)
We have had this server a few times and she's just not very good at her job. She's very overwhelmed can't handle her section. She should just not be a server. I've worked in restaurants for 26 years and then a manager of one and I would wanna know if one of my servers was performing this way she does not possess the qualities that a. FOH team member should have. Thank you.
First off, we waited 1hr for our food( â no one told hostess that there should be no walk upsâ). My guest ordered the Father's Day special, which included 3 large scallops according to the board at the entrance and the waitress description, but when it was served, the waitress stated that was a mistake and there only were 2 served. I ordered the prime rib(which I have had there in the past) .there was a solid hunk of fat the was at least 25% of the piece of meat. I expect some on a prime rib , but spread throughout , this was pure fat 3/4 inch thick. I've never been served that on my plate before. Poor management as far as I'm concerned, if they advertised the scallops wrong, they should have bit the bullet and served 3 as advertised, and I eat prime rib a lot , even preparing it myself, but I can't imagine a professional chef presenting a piece of meat like I got for a,customer.
I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie all the time. Prior it was thick and lots of fillings. Yesterday it was watery with very little filling and we bit smaller. I was looking forward all week to this meal and sorry to say not up to Par. Waitress was excellent.
We ordered prime rib. Both orders came out completely overcooked and had no seasoning at all on them. We sent them back. Apparently, there has been issues with the current cook staff.
Went with a party of 7. General consensus was very mediocre for the cost. Felt like cafeteria quality meal. Service was unmentionable as well. Fairly long wait, and not attentive. Ran out of water, forgot to bring permission cheese until half my meal was already eaten.
This was our first time here. My fiancĂ© and I are visiting family in the NY area and planned this outing for two birthdays. Cassie was our server and she was AMAZING⊠She was very attentive, honest, knew the menu very well and was able to help with suggestions. We just loved her! The food was great (everyone loved their dishes/appetizers). I had a cocktail and that was good, too. We would definitely go back the next time we visit. đ
Food is great!!! Wish they were open more days than they are. I have eaten there many times and have never had a bad experience.

The food was very good, but I think the breadsticks that we were given at the start of the meal were from the day before they weren't very fresh and it was only 5 pm
We had the Prime Rib and the Filet. Both were cooked to our perfection. We are always treated like royalty there. Love the waitress's and bar staff. Definitely recommend PJClark's!
Wonderful service every time we visit. Food is always consistent. Maddison made my son's birthday special. She went above and beyond to learn his name and asked if liked chocolate cake all ahead of time without him suspecting anything. Then they all sang to him. It's the small stuff that matters. Attention to details is what they do best!
I never leave bad reviews but this place deserves one. We have been there several times and have never had a great experience. The most recent visit was the worse. We had a reservation and waited over an hour after the reservation time for the table. Once we got the table the service was incredibly slow. The food is extremely mediocre especially for the price. Hopefully they can improve the service and food but until then, I would avoid this place.
We had reservations @ 8pm. When we arrived, we waited 10 minutes for a hostess to come to the front desk. She wasnât friendly at all & she said the kitchen was behind so we wonât be seated for 30 minutes. We ended up waiting 45 minutes past our reservation time. Then, we waited 15 minutes at our table before our waitress came over to get our drink order. Waited another 15 minutes for her to bring the bottle of wine. There was an awful stench throughout the restaurant for some reason as well. We heard the table next to us complain about their food so we were hesitant to order big meals. I ordered the Mac and cheese which looked good at first, but it was SOOO SALTY it was completely inedible and the bacon was raw. đ€ą The breadsticks were like hockey pucks, couldâve broken a tooth on them. The steak was okay but the potato seemed like it had been left out for 2 days. When we told the waitress about the food quality, she just took it off the table and didnât offer a substitution. We were only charged for the wine and the steak thankfully, but still an awful experience especially for Valentineâs Day.
0/10 do not recommend.
