We travel to this hotel and casino at least once a month. The rooms are always clean and the staff are always friendly and helpful. This is one of our favorite places for a weekend getaway! Rooms include a fridge and the hotel lobby always has coffee available for the morning. There is a Dunkin Donuts on site, as well, for breakfast. They have a buffet that has breakfast items, as well, on the weekends, which we LOVE. A sports bar is right outside the casino, for great burgers and beer.
Check in is very easy with helpful front desk staff. The room is spotless and the bathroom has all the necessities you can ask for. We loved the large shower.Twice now we have had stale donuts at dunkin donuts.
The check in was quick. The room was spacious and clean with a shower. The bed was comfy. Did not have free alcohol when we gambled. A large property with a large selections of machines. Although it was busy on a Friday it was not crowded.
Hotel is great, but food is TERRIBLE. The buffet ran out of carved turkey 1 hour after opening. The salad bar was missing many items a 1/2 hour later. A very poor selection, and messy food service area. P.J. Clarkes their signature choice was closed.
Room very clean. Staff was polite. Didn't like the layout of the place. Parking garage, rooms and casino seperated by the race track. Not all restaurants were open. Affordable @ $115/night via booking.com
Overall a brilliant stopover from JFK to Niagara Falls. Hotel and Casino are spotless. Booked a King Room but was given a different room. Check in clerk was not the most pleasant person I have met, no welcome & no smile. Room was large, large shower and very clean. Casino was good, lots of friendly people.
We visited on a 3 day stay cation package. The room was well appointed: great shower, beds very comfortable even had comfy pillows, robe was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet couldn't have been better. Staff did a great job keeping up with some demanding people. Dinner at PJ Clark's was delicious great chowder and crab cakes. Nothing at all negative, except maybe the money I left at the casino !
We are retired and have visited so many casinos we lost count. This is by far the best we have been to. The staff are amazing, the hotel well equipped and immaculate, the food FABULOUS and the casino bright, welcoming and has a great variety of slots. Even though it is 200 miles away it will be the one we visit the most from now on. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK !!!!
Great casino, hotel is very nice. Really good restaurants. Staff go above and beyond. Always enjoy our visits here. In the summertime they have live horse racing and indoor & outdoor pools.
My wife and I just stayed here overnight. The Covid precautions are spot-on. We felt very safe and had a great time. You cannot have drinks or food on the gaming floor. We did go to Turning Stone last summer and you could drink if you used a straw under your mask and never removed it, don't understand the difference. Our room was excellent, well stocked and "Felt" very clean. PJ Clarke restaurant was excellent, both dinner and breakfast.

I wanted to cry when we left. Worst time ever! Surprise night away for my husband's birthday. Went to casino to play a little before we went to check in our room. Checked in brought stuff to room looked to see heat was at 70 when I got in the room. Left to go back to the casino to kill some time before our dinner reservations. Which I booked a high top table at PJ Clarke's, I got a dirty corner table facing the wall that I wouldn't sit at until she cleaned it food and paper all over the table and floor, real safe with covid, as I pulled my chair out it was sticky where I had put my hand ?. Everyone was running everywhere and it wasn't even busy. I ordered the chicken mashed potatoes and broccoli. My chicken was dry and tasteless, my mashed potatoes were a clump from the old ice cream scoop and tasted like they came from a box. They forgot my broccoli so when they did bring it they might as well brought ranch dressing to cause it was raw. I mean come on that's everything on my plate. Needless to say I didn't eat. Manager came over he could use alil etiquette lesson. He said he would take the chicken back to his 3* chef. For what was he going to taste it? It was white in color non appetizing looked like it was boiled. Looked more like half a pigeon than a chicken. He did take my meal off the check but so much for my table or meal with my husband for his birthday. Our reservation was for 7:30 we never got out of there til 9 and considering I didn't eat I found this rediculous since the casino closes at 10pm. After a smoke outside we went back to the room to see it was chilly but after being outside I thought it will warm up. Now for the Rain shower what a joke it's a glorified boys locker room shower including the pubes from someone else. Don't use the shampoo omg my poor hair! So as we crawl into bed the alarm starts going off why I didn't set it? The comforter which you put on the bed yourself from a bag from the closet. Why this is I have no earthly idea as they put the sheets and pillowcase on so wth is the difference in this? Anyways I booked a King-size deluxe room it came with a queen size comforter for myself and my husband to share. That doesn't work in a king bed. I awoke to go to the bathroom in the night and it was freezing in the room. I wasn't going to the desk at this point because if I'd of had to pack my stuff to move rooms I'd of gone home at this point. Also the damn snack machine in the hall robs you it owes me $3.25 and there should be instructions for it don't put money in for all ya want, put exact change in pick your item repeat. By the time morning came I couldn't wait to leave I wasn't eating breakfast at the same place that screwed me before. And would you come back where you complained? I told the front counter woman at check out the heat didn't work in the room and she was rude and asked me why I didn't call in the middle of the night to tell them. First off it's not my responsibility to tell you what's wrong with the hole you call a casino 2ndly are you and the manager at Pjs related? Well catch a ride with him to that same etiquette class, cause after the time I had at your establishment I didn't need your rude tude!!! Also I realize we got alot of snow but ankle deep with ice to your door is asking for a law suit. But I guess that's what the winnings were saved for. If you stay here you might as well pull up to the door throw $400 out at the door and sleep in your car. Like I said I wanted to cry when I left! Happy Birthday to my Husband!?
My family and I had a wonderful time at the hotel resort. Under the conditions with covid 19 everyone made our stay awesome. We enjoyed the free continental breakfast at pj Clarke's. The pool was refreshing to swim in so we're going back again soon.
There was 6 adults and 3 kids, all of our prior vacation plans were pretty much cancelled this year do to the COVID. We decided to book 3 rooms for the weekend. It was a great weekend and very relaxing. Definitely will do it again.
This hotel is so nice. The view to the racetrack is beautiful. You can watch the horses running their practice runs. Beds are super comfortable. Can’t wait for the hotel and casino to reopen. Love the pool and pool bar. Good food in restaurants.
Its a great place to win a thousand dollars, or lose a thousand. Its up to you!
