We recently visited The Broken Inn, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The food was disappointing—our chicken sandwiches were burnt, dry, and completely lacking in flavor, while the Bavarian pretzels tasted like they had just come out of a freezer. The only redeeming item was the kids’ chicken nuggets, which were surprisingly decent.

As for the atmosphere, it had potential but was marred by blaring hair band music that made it hard to enjoy the meal and flickering LED sconces that were more distracting than ambient.

Overall, while the concept might have promise, the execution—both in food and environment—fell flat.

After finding this place on Google Maps, seeing pics of the food, and reviewing the menu (hilarious, btw), we decided to give it a try. It's a cool place, but the service was very slow and the food wasn't bad, but the burgers and sandwiches were quite dry.

Parking: When we pulled up, there was an open parking spot right in front.

Had a terrific lunch here. It was recommended by a friend that grew up in the area. The staff were incredibly friendly in a great old pub style atmosphere.

The actual worst place I have ever went to ever. I’ve lived in a total of 4 states and never have I’ve been ignored in a restaurant for a solid 5 minutes. The bartenders were looking at me and my boyfriend yet they still said nothing to us and continued to act like we didn’t exist so we left before we even got seated. I also have never given a review ever on a restaurant or anything so to say I dislike your hospitality is an understatement. 0 of 5 is not a possible review but 0 of 5 IS WHAT IM GIVING YOU IN HERE
AWFUL

I’ve been to this place 3 times. The first time was ok, with average food and slow service. The second time it was packed and so loud we couldn’t hear each other. We left before ordering. I figured that was a fluke and went back a third time. Food was cold and server was rude. Worst of all, they’re racist and casually mention it on social media. They’re never getting my money again and I urge anyone else not to.

Friendly and welcoming service. Tight space not a lot of room for a big party. Cash only but the owners is a big contributer to the community. Please support this business.

Girlfriend and I arrived and were seated pretty quickly. The staff was really friendly, the restaurant was clean.

We ordered the Broken Inn Burger with an egg and a grilled chicken salad. Something came up so we asked to have our food boxed up to go before it came to the table.

The salad was average, but the burger was cold by the time I got in my car in front of restaurant. But at the heart of this review, dear reader, is an egg.

When we got in the car, instead of a fried or sunny side up egg, I found a peeled hard boiled egg in my take out box.

I couldn’t go back, and I do believe they would fix the order if I had asked. But I can’t stop thinking about the egg. Either the cook honestly thought I wanted a hard boiled egg with my burger, or didn’t care and whipped a hard boiled egg in the box.

I guess I got what I ordered, but I really didn’t think I’d have to specify. Unlikely I’ll go back.

Went in mid-week in the evening. 4 of us. Waited way too long to be seated (the bar area had maybe 4 people, and the entire restaurant had about 10 guests). The food was nothing to write home about. The fries were so cold and soggy that the server actually apologized and brought more. The waitress was kind but also absent most of the time. Also, this is personal opinion, but I find it difficult to respect a restaurant that is cash only. Seems cheap....but I guess you get what you pay for.

My first thought?? Why have I not gone to this place sooner... Seriously... Unbelievable!!! They open at 4... It's cash only... They use peanut oil... Can't speak for every dish but I can speak on the Reuben - my dear friend and I have been on the hunt for "who's got the best Reuben" well... This jumped up to the top 3 for sure!!! Can't wait to go back! PS - fantastic fries... Get the cheese sauce on the side!! Or they offer loaded fries... Just go and be glad you did! Oh and one more thing... You like carrot cake?? Hahahaha yeah... Get it to share or have it for yourself for the next 2-3 days; you'll see

First off, this restaurant accepts cash only. Also they use peanut oil to fry. You may want to be informed those things before you walk in and sit down at a table.
The restaurant is cozy and comfortable. The service was good. I got a turkey club sandwich, that was a joke (in a good way ?) l had to go slowly so the sandwich won't fall apart. The french fries are just okay. Food was good overall. I'll probably go back.

Went for dinner with 2 others. Apps we had corn nuggets and the hummus. Dinner we had a burger, buffalo salad and a wrap with chicken. Very nice size portions for price. Good food and service. Room was a little warm tempurature wise. Busy time. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Cash only but they have an ATM if need. I totally support their policy and reason for such.

We're not from area but would go back again. Not sure how many patrons were local vs outsiders but it was full.

As they stated throughout their menu and wait staff, they fry in peanut oil. I guess if someone is allergic to such that is a problem.

We saw a few people getting the desserts and boy they are HUGE. The menu has funny descriptions of items. It's a fun read.

Was hoping to have a nice dinner with friends. First place dwas pasked on a Thursday night, waited 1/2 hr for table. Sweltering hot. 1 soda 1 draft beer $9.00 would have been nice if beer was cold. Get to table. Even hotter now. Service a little slow due to crowd ok, food so so. Wings weren't bad, chicken sandwich less than good. Burger King chicken club would give them a run for their money, flat bread ok. Overall very disappointing and will not go back.
