“Ma and Pop shop that melts my heart when I’m there (2nd time going). They greet you when you come in and are the only employees there (so definitely have patience though their kindness makes up for any time waiting).Each time I’ve been there they’ve given us a complementary “starter” (2 pieces per person of a spicy, on-the-house sushi).Today we went for the lunch combo and that’s been our favorite so far since the price is good for what you get and I love that it comes with a choice of miso or salad (last time we went for dinner and I had their bulgolgi sushi which was amazing but I loved how fresh and filling their lunch special was while also being budget friendly).They even served us free dessert both times; a complementary (and beautifully cut) orange slice and half a mochi each (last time it was the vanilla mochi which I loved as it reminded me of an orange creamsicle with the orange slice but today’s was a matcha mocha that was absolutely delicious).We’ll definitely be back :)Vegetarian options: I had a sweet potato sushi roll that was so good! I also see they have avocado rolls and other rolls that are just surrounded by a single but delish vegetable.Kid-friendliness: There was a mom and her little toddler waiting for takeout; the owners not only gave them the complementary starter while they waited for their order but even a whole mochi to the toddler as she was waiting with her mom. The owners have the biggest hearts! ❤️“

“The sushi and sashimi was excellent, and the staff was friendly and nice. It is great quality for the price. I ordered the firecracker roll, dragon roll, and sashimi regular (16 pieces of sashimi), and fried red bean ice cream. Both of the rolls were generous in size and flavorful, the sashimi was fresh and generous as well. It's great to have a good sushi place in East Meadow. My orders came with a side of salad and miso soup - I didn't want to have it at that time so the server (on her own accord) decided to pack it for me to go. That was very sweet and kind. The staff was very nice. The server kept checking in on me in the nicest way to make sure I had everything. The fried red bean ice cream was just okay though. The tempura burst so it was soggy-ish. I think this was an exception though - because other people who have ordered it seemed to have gotten one which was whole with a crispy shell. Also, it may not look it, but they have plenty of seating hidden towards the side of the restaurant as well. Overall, great experience and I look forward to visiting again.“

“Finally a good Korean bbq and hot pot spot on Long Island! Love that you can choose yourself all you can eat fresh ingredients which are constantly being added every few minutes. They are so clean and have hot foods and sushi as well. The desserts are delicious. I did both the Korean Bbq and Hot pot which were delicious. Loved that you can mix and match your own sauces and make everything yourself.Customer service is wonderful as well! Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend this place.“

“My hubby and I had dinner here for the first time and it was my birthday. From the moment we were seated, the service was spectacular! We had a total of 3 different servers, all female, and all were phenomenal. I forgot their names, unfortunately but again, they were all amazing and most importantly, friendly! We ordered a bunch of appetizers and the sunrise special roll was SO delicious!!! Our entrees were perfectly cooked, and dessert was on point. The server knew it was my birthday and brought out complimentary doughnuts with a lit candle - I thought this was so nice of them! The night was perfect and of course, cannot forget the talented and entertaining, Vincent Rhodes, who did an incredible job at signing and performing Scenes from an Italian Restaurant!! Brava!“

“Fukee, and their Staff make for a great Sushi experience. They are super friendly, and keep their restaurant very clean. The food is great, from the dressing on the salad to the Hamachi Kama, the rolls are the proper size with quality fish and can be customized to your liking - they remember me and make sure my rolls are seed free and cut into 8 Pieces - Thank you May!! I highly recommend trying them out, esp for the lunch special as its an easy way to try their food for less money then a dinner, find what you like and then go in for a nice dinner with friends as they can accommodate larger groups and have a great bar too.“

“The service and atmosphere of this restaurant was amazing! My partner and I got pho with sliced beef, and also a traditional banh mi. This is easily the best pho that we have both ever tried, and we have tried many places in Manhattan, Queens, and along Suffolk County. The broth was very clean, flavorful, and had lots of depth! The banh mi was very tasty and satisfying, their pickled vegetables are refreshing. For 2 phos and a banh mi, it was around $40, so it was a great price for a lot of delicious food!Also as an added bonus, we got fried shrimp on the house! “We have been coming here for over half a year and it’s our go to spot for sushi. It’s the only place outside of Manhattan where we can get fish that doesn’t cause my skin to react. The quality and preparation is ways above the local sushi joints.“

The roast duck entree was succulent and perfectly cooked. A half order was plenty for 2 people. I loved the Dan Dan noodles as they were spicy while still having tons of flavor. That's a delicate balance that was executed perfectly. This is a 10/10, repeat visit, add it to the rotation type of place.“

Everything was delicious, just wish the rolls were a little bigger. Definitely on the smaller side compared to tons of other sushi restaurants I've been too. Honestly, we were still hungry after that. So order more than you think. We were going to order the Mille (Green Tea) Crêpe Cake but they ran out for the night. Looked really promising though. For cocktails I first ordered a margarita and I feel bad saying this but, it was one of the worst margaritas I've ever had and my husband agreed. It didn't taste anything like a margarita, and it was sour and just weird. However, the waitress was nice enough to switch out my drink and I ended up ordering a Jalapeño Mango Martini instead, which was delicious. Overall everything was good just wish the sushi had a bigger serving.“

I always get sushi however one person I went with didn't eat sushi, but he loved the General Tso's chicken. They have a great assortment and diversity of selections on their menu. The ambience is nice with a smaller sized dining room, and the service is outstanding. It's nice because the servers are on top of your meal/order without being on top of your table.
