Unbelievable. Even for Upstate New York this place was unbelievable. The food - when it finally came - was only barely acceptable. Their policy - which is unbelievable - is to bring out the food as it’s ready. So for a party of six we got one dinner. The wait time was unbelievable. We finally got the second meal. Twenty minutes later we got three more. The last meal - which was a SOUP (Don’t they just have a pot of this somewhere?} didn’t appear at all until I flagged down a server (after many attempts) and begged for it. When it finally came…with a different server…I was taken to task for asking for it. I have been to many restaurants all over the world. I have NEVER been taken to task by any server much less one who was obviously in the wrong. She lambasted me for having the nerve to complain that our sixth dinner basically never arrived and I had upset the other server. “This is our home.” Hello? Who is paying the bill here? I know that Upstate New York is not Paris but I have never been treated this way in Paris! The bottom line is that the customer is always right and if the customer is paying for six meals, the wait staff has no right to act this way! If they have no plan, no discipline, or order in their kitchen, that’s not the customer’s fault but it ends up being the customer’s problem. BarVino…You have a lot to learn.

Food is excellent. Had the chicken and corn soup, shrimp, and sweet and spicy wings. All were very tasty. Portion on the shrimp was small and on the wings was big. Service was very attentive and had some nice local beers on tap. Ambiance is great for the area. My only knock is it needs a more extensive menu - only true protein entree was a steak. They need a chicken or fish also.

Very small wine selection. Great beer (can) variety. For draft beers the tap is not cold enough the beer was warm. We watched the server scrap foam off that kept building, which is a tell tale sign the beer is not cold enough.

Excellent food and wine. We had the bruschetta, steak lettuce wraps, ravioli and a piece of chocolate cake for desert. Highly recommend this

For three evenings running, we found ourselves back at this restaurant. The truth is, there's nothing else decent in town except a pizza joint. While the food is average, the atmosphere is pleasant and they have a fantastic beer selection. So, in this dining desert, we can't be too critical.

Incredible service and atmosphere. we were seated by a beautiful fireplace. The mushroom soup was out of this world, as were the frites and steak. Flourless chocolate tort was to die for. Didn’t expect to find this hidden gem of a restaurant up here but glad I did.

I am having a rough time with this one. We did not realize it was not meant for big appetites before visiting. The house wine was amazing. First time experiencing warmed wine. Meal portions are small. I guess that is the point as I have researched and found. Staff was friendly and the ambiance is romantic. It is on me that I didn't understand the point of this spot before entering. I would recommend highly for those who wish to have a wide variety of wine and beer and a small meal. If that is the goal, they have met it.

barVino is a hidden gem in North Creek! The atmosphere provides a chic and calming vibe. The staff is fabulous and the food, made with locally sourced ingredients, is out of this world. They have a great beer and wine selection. You must try the soups; they are the best soups I’ve ever tasted! Truly, this is an incredible place you must check out!
