Used to be great. The best in Merrick. New management is adding more vegetables and less protein. Ordered a chicken with broccoli, and there were a few pieces of chicken, and mostly mushrooms, carrots, and onions. This restaurant is getting worse by the days.

Use to order from this place all the time when the old owners were there .. food quality went down. Ordered chicken wings the other day to give this place one more try since the one i rely on is closed on Tuesday’s “Asian Garden”. The wings were absolutely very oily and fatty. Fried rice had no taste what so ever . Very expensive . Paid 80+$$ .I guess ill try again one day and see if it changes .

Pretty good place from old management and new. Recently though the rise have been raised and food has been cut. I'm paying almost 7 for just chicken wings and not getting them all. Need to at least change the quantity and not get people expectations up.

Look up a Chinese food tried this restaurant via Grubhub Because it offered One of my favorite; Chinese dish is eggplant and garlic sauce. I ordered more than one selection from the menu for future meals ; the roast pork egg foo yong ,wonton soup and a large order of brown rice. Everything was very delicious I'll probably try my next GrubHub order for more selection from their menu

Not bad at all. My first time eating here. I did go on a Friday, not sure if that makes a difference. Pork lo mein, Fried rice & $1 broccoli and boneless ribs with egg roll. $18

I used to go there quite a bit before the pandemic, the food was good, but today was a total disappointment! The steamed dumplings were too doughy with very little filling, the shrimp roll, likewise lacked filling and crispiness, and there was one less chicken wing than advertised. I think I have to find another Chinese take out place.
I’ve tried a lot of places and this place has the best boneless spare ribs around. My gf has tried other plates which were also good. But good boneless ribs are hard to find.

This Chinese restaurant was a gem back in the day when I was in high school.. ever since the old owners left and new owner took over . IVE BEEN VERRRRRRY disappointed . From the pricing to the portions "did I say PORTIONS?!" To the quality and oh wait did I say PORTIONS ??? If you order the chicken wings. Expect to recieve 2 chicken wings split in small pieces . And that's your order . It's ridiculous how much their scamming people off the amount of food you get for the price . And the food itself is low standard . I'm better off going to the supermarket frying my own chicken wings. It's pretty sad ...DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE ! I really recommend ASIAN GARDEN on Jerusalem avenue in merrick . Their food is PHENOMENAL and portions is so much for their price ! Thank me later :) Btw I would give 0 stars but had to put one star to post this review . The photo is from Asian Garden on Jeruseulm Avenue .ALL FOR 9$!!! This half portion for chicken wings is a whole portion in China King . Get with the movement y'all.

This is one of the best takeout Chinese restaurants we've ever ordered from! We found them on a whim looking for someone who had honey chicken and this place did not disappoint. We liked our first order so much that we called back and placed a second one to try some other dishes. The food is also not salty which is great if you're trying to watch the salt. We tried the Mongolian beef, egg drop soup, sweet and sour chicken, mei fun noodles, chicken with snow peas, and then they made us a special order of honey tofu. The only thing that was a little plain were the vegetable wontons. The staff was also very friendly. We can't wait to order again!
