This is half of a review. I have never sat in the formal dining part of Iavarone, because the pizzeria half is so good I’ve never felt the need to. The pizza here is classic, thin crust, crunchy, and never burnt or raw. I recommend the vodka Sicilian or the pepperoni, but most locals agree, this is the BEST plain slice around. Everyone is always friendly and they’ll never turn you away if they have a seat. To be honest, the only downside to Iavarone is that the bathroom is down a flight of stairs, which is rather inaccessible for anyone with disabilities.

Wheelchair accessibility: No accessible bathroom, but the restaurant itself is fine.

Best chicken franchise I have ever had and I go to many new places and get that same dish to try how it is and this by far has been the best in years so far.. even leftovers stayed good as fresh out the kitchen. Recommend everyone to go here for a meal.

The reason for my score went with my fiance and our daughter for dinner and sat right by the kitchen in a booth and saw a roach. I told one of the Waiters about it and they acted like they couldn't hear me on what I was saying I was trying to be very discreet. Then the manager came over with a couple people and looked behind the wine rack where it was and I crawled up a seam that's between the kitchen and the dining area. Also what I observed as well was the people in the kitchen were not wearing gloves and this is people's food. This is not sanitary or a place that people should go to eat and think that it's okay to let it happen.

Old-fashioned NY Italian restaurant: table service is somewhat casual but friendly and thorough, but the main appeal is reliably good food. We didn't have the pizza, but it looked great (and the variety of options was imprssive). The meatball and chicken parmigiana heros were exactly what they should be.

Parking: Large but shared strip-mall lot, pretty crowded at popular times.

What started out as a great night and dinner with my Fianće turned out not so great, we ordered a pasta dish and subbed out the pasta for ravioli.. the waiter said yes we can do that but there would be an upcharge (which is fine and what we expected).. our food comes we had baked clams, the fungi pasta dish and the veal parm, the food was great I won’t take away from that. I went downstairs to the bathroom and come out of the stall and see a roach on its back and as I was leaving the bathroom there was another one crawling past the door i have experienced anything like that… come back to the table the waiter brings the bill and the up charge for the pasta was 15.00 more on top of the dish’s total price which we feel is something you should advise to your customers.

Food is always amazing. The options at the counter were limited, especially for the early dinner time I was there. $5 for a standard slice is a bit steep imo. The service is friendly and efficient. A visit next door in the market is necessary to bring some goodness home.

Pizza: Sicilian slice was impeccable, a true 5 out of 5. Regular slice was subpar, 3 out of 5.
Service: Lackluster, slow, and nobody know what was going on.

Still worth it for that Sicilian slice though. Service needs improvement though, two young girls beyond the counter glued to their phones and not being that active behind the counter. Service brought my review from 4 stars down to 3 stars.
