Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.”

“I went to a family friend’s 70th birthday party they hosted in the Atlantic ballroom. The space was modern and very clean. The food was DELICIOUS!!! And the workers, Yiselle, Estrellita, and Shorty (blonde) made the event so memorable! They paid attention to every detail, whether it was filling our water cups, collecting unused plates and of course they did it all with a warm smile. They were kind, funny and very welcoming. “I’ve had sushi all over America, and this is a top contender amongst the best I’ve had. The menu is on the simpler side, but don’t let that detract you from the absolute quality they deliver. The sushi rolls are larger than typical and priced very reasonable for what you get. Plus they serve warm sushi rice which not many places outside of Los Angeles do.”
