About Nanking

Nanking is a restaurant known for its delicious and fresh meals. Popular dishes include Gobi Manchurian, Dal makhni, Manchow soup, butter chicken, and ras malai. The staff, including Manager Manish and Arvind Dada, are praised for their attentive and efficient service. They handle any issues quickly, such as when a dish is too spicy. However, it is worth noting that the lamb vindaloo is known to be extremely spicy, and this is not indicated on the menu. Many customers enjoy their dining experience and plan to return, especially appreciating the ras malai for its homemade taste. The venue is suitable for small gatherings or parties up to around 125 people. While the food receives mixed reviews, the friendly staff and good service often make for a pleasant visit. Some dishes, like chilli chicken, can be slightly chewy, and the overall flavor can vary from time to time. Customers also suggest serving fish cut up instead of whole for easier eating. There have been some issues with service, such as delays in receiving orders, even when the restaurant is not busy. Nonetheless, the choice of food remains good, with the biryani being a favorite, featuring tender chicken and well-seasoned rice. Overall, many find the bold, authentic flavors, especially in butter chicken and biryani, combined with fresh naan and warm service, making Nanking one of the top spots for tasty, fresh meals with friendly service.

Loved the atmosphere.
Very professional ✨⚡️💫
I’ve been a longtime fan of Nanking, especially their New Jersey location, which closed several years ago. I was excited to find a Nanking on Long Island, expecting the same flavors that made me love their food. Sadly, the food here lacked the flavor and quality I remembered, and it didn’t live up to my expectations. That said, the service was friendly and attentive, and the staff provided a pleasant dining experience despite the disappointing meal.
It's one of the best Indian and Chinese restaurant in NY. The food was fabulous. My most fav was noodles and Manchurian gravy along with samosa chaat. Would definitely come here again!
