Attended Cars and Coffee this past Sunday as I have done many times over the years. I arrived a bit later than normal and had to park across the street. As always the service is great, the coffee is wonderful and the baked goods are the best. About 10:30 I walked over to my car, that was parked off the street where I have parked before, and where others park every week, and noticed a ticket on the windshield. Beautiful atmosphere, but food wasn’t great. Had gotten refrigerated wrap and iced coffee. The chicken wrap had a ton of pieces of cartilage and the lettuce was soggy. Was looking forward to crunch and a savory chicken wrap. Expensive for the quality. And the attitude from the cashier was very judgmental. No point of having a beautiful cafe to have crappy food and energy. 😫
My family& I loved the atmosphere and the menu. We were hoping for pancakes or french toast, but they didn't offer those items on their menu. If those items were on the menu my son would have been happier instead of eating a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast.
