We have been using Carvel for years because of Fudgie the Whale 🐋 (highly recommended), but have recently been going for their specialty soft serve. This week, we tried the pumpkin cheesecake, which was great! My kids also enjoy the dairy free oatly options with toppings. Service at this location is always great, although I feel the floors could be a little cleaner. Overall, it's a great dessert spot for North Syracuse.

Blueberry Lemon Crumble...
This small sized cone packs a lot of yum. The soft blueberry flavor is the first thing you get, followed by a hint of lemon. Everything is subtle but definitely present.
This is super creamy, which adds to experience. Without anything added, it feels like you're getting whipped cream with your soft serve.
This location has plenty of parking and a modest amount of outdoor seating.
The server was very personable and fast with our orders.

My family visited Destiny USA today and we followed our visit to the mall with an ice cream from Carvels. I was looking forward to this visit because the one in Rochester NY closed years ago and I always remembered how good their ice cream was. Great service and the ice cream was delicious. Just like I remembered.

Service was super, pleasant atmosphere. Of course ice cream was delicious. No place inside to enjoy the treat. However, parking lot provides a convenient place to park and relax
This place always given great reviews by me. Tonight wasnt great. 1 the guy never asked if we were separate from the party that was ahead of us so he just skipped us and went to the people after. 2nd asked me if I wanted anything in my carvelanche I was confused. He had to remake it since he seemed he had no clue how to make it. 3rd the remake cup (little did I know) had a slice in the cup and I couldn't tell why it was dripping all over me and my car. Until I found the cut. We love this place. Today's service was not up to par.

This place is one of those places that are extremely nostalgic if you're not from Syracuse, and good times if you're from Syracuse. It would make other places a fair comparison, since this place is completely in character and a perfect fit for making events personal in Syracuse. Many locally owned stores seem to take on this same atmosphere, and great place start for visitors. I am a little disappointed about there not being more stores in the metropolitan area.
