This was for the clambake facility, not the restaurant.

Had an awesome haddock fried sandwich.
Great coleslaw. Bread was good very fresh. Onion rings .... had a Blue Moon.
LS had scallops, DOS had the sampler platter, KB the lobster rolls and Mom had crab cakes. Was a tad cool then warmed up. Had the entire room to ourselves for 75% of our visit. Nice decor very comfy and a A+ time was had. Recommend.

Best steamed clams in the area, hands down! Slightly salty, juicy, and fresh with drawn butter, $10 a dozen the day I went in. Had 2 dozen with a beer and a side of spinners (super awesome potato wedge curly fry) at the bar and was absolutely tickled pink to find such a gem! Thank you for the great first impression :)

Would have said something about the tough prime rib, but my nephew was in town visiting and didn't want to spoil the night. Disappointed.

I really enjoy the atmosphere, customer service here. Our servers are always attentive and friendly. Food quality is 5 stars, I especially love the popcorn! If you remember the TV show Cheers, this feels like a place where everyone knows your name and you feel like part of the family.

Until they closed in 2018, our union held a highly anticipated annual clam bake at Hinerwadel's in North Syracuse. The venue for that joyous gathering has been moved to the Spinning Wheel which did not disappoint. Like Hinerwadel's, their clambake includes an abundance of food to choose from in addition to the bountiful baked clams with melted butter dipping sauce. This included salads, hot dogs, sausage sandwiches, barbecue pulled pork, delicious meatballs in marinara sauce, roast beef sandwiches with horseradish sauce, and for dessert, the best mixed berry crumble I've ever encountered. We were lucky to have our event on a beautiful day at the end of September when the shaded outdoor tables proved very popular. The Spinning Wheel restaurant and bar is located in a smaller building, adjacent to the event center, where you can get a dozen steamed clams for $10 (in 2024) as well as sports-bar menu items. This seems to be a gathering place for fans of the Las Vegas Raiders football team. Go Maxx Crosby!
