You are a block up the rd from Tim Horton and they always have a line around the building - probably because they never have empty coffee pots. This happens almost every time I stop by and it’s a little embarrassing to always need to bring it to the staffs attention.

Ok this place is more than a gas station.. I literally just experienced a time warp back to the 80’s. I was hoping to find one or two arcade games, but there was none. Matty’s food mart is truly dated by todays standards. Looking past the decor, you have your diner and convenience store items. There’s even a sitting area for you to enjoy the food.

The subs are really good but the wait on a Saturday is too long. In my opinion, I think they need more people working there on weekends.

It's so hard to find good take-out in NT. We were told about Matty's and have been ordering for the past few months. Food has been great everytime until tonight. When we called to complain we were met with someone inexperienced to handle the call. Very disappointed that we have to continue our search for good food and good customer service.
Order the steak & cheese sub. Turns out amazing every single time. Steak is real & chopped up. Rolls toasted (extra upon request) One of the BEST steak & cheese subs even though it’s out of a GAS STATION!! The food they produce is amazing & worth the money. Do not hesitate just because it’s a gas station. I’ve been ordering from them for years for a reason. QUALITY & TASTY

Huge sign on the door must have mask, that covers mouth and nose or NO ENTRY. Fair enough I respect that, untill I walk in and all the employees except one has mask below nose or half on. I just don’t understand it. But the food is decent when they don’t mess it up!!
