If you, like me, stopped going to Batata for a time because their food and service seemed to decline a few years ago, I recommend you revisit soon… food and service was excellent the last 3 times I ordered. I have been going to Batata since it opened many years ago and through all of its changes. Really wanted to love Batata, they have some great menu options - but, have found the consistency is not always there and they (really) need to be more careful with their prep procedures as we found a large piece of cut plastic in our wrap, that after rinsing off appears to be part of a condiment container.
We eat there often because the food is consistent and tastes good. Can't really speak to anything but the mobster and the half and half because that's all I get. But it's great, always ready in like 10-15 min and delicious.
