So many restaurants to choose from on Main St, in Northport, but Bistro 44 is our choice every time!! The food is always delicious, the service is incredible, everyone is friendly and welcoming. Jeff our waiter is fantastic and whatever the fish special is that the chef prepares is perfection as is the risotto ! We will continue to choose Bistro 44. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our waiter, Jeffrey, is the best: professional, courteous, and quite knowledgeable. We got off to a great conversation about a few topics. He shared the history of the restaurant. Food and service are consistently wonderful!! Some must trys are their crab cakes, Thai calamari, and the onion soup. For lunch, try the croque monsieur or the lobster BLT. If they have the New England clam chowder as the soup of the day, GET IT!!

The service was a bit slow, particularly when waiting for the check, but the larger problem was that the server did not come back to the table in a timely manner to ask if everything was satisfactory. That failure was reflected in the size of the gratuity. Having been in the restaurant business years ago, I know that it is essential to check with the customers soon after the food is delivered, as that would afford the opportunity to the server / kitchen to rectify any possible problem(s).
