So many restaurants to choose from on Main St, in Northport, but Bistro 44 is our choice every time!! The food is always delicious, the service is incredible, everyone is friendly and welcoming. Jeff our waiter is fantastic and whatever the fish special is that the chef prepares is perfection as is the risotto ! We will continue to choose Bistro 44. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food and service are consistently wonderful!! Some must trys are their crab cakes, Thai calamari, and the onion soup. For lunch, try the croque monsieur or the lobster BLT. If they have the New England clam chowder as the soup of the day, GET IT!!

Food was excellent and it was priced fairly. The service was a bit slow, particularly when waiting for the check, but the larger problem was that the server did not come back to the table in a timely manner to ask if everything was satisfactory. That failure was reflected in the size of the gratuity. Having been in the restaurant business years ago, I know that it is essential to check with the customers soon after the food is delivered, as that would afford the opportunity to the server / kitchen to rectify any possible problem(s).

This restaurant is reliably good, we've been here many times in the past and will continue to come back. My wife and I shared the Buffalo mozzarella appetizer and then we had the chicken Milanese and the monkfish special. Both were very good and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.

We sat outside in their charming courtyard and the service was good. The skirt steak and duck were both excellent. However, the mashed potatoes were flavorless and the asparagus overcooked.

Had a wonderful dinner here tonight to celebrate my mother in laws 94th bday. The staff were attentive, Lucas and our server made the evening fun! The meals were delicious and atmosphere was great!! Can't wait to come back!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bistro 44, a hidden gem in the heart of [Northport. The moment I stepped through the door, I was captivated by the warm, inviting atmosphere. The elegant decor, coupled with the soft lighting, created a perfect ambiance for a special evening. The highlight of my meal was, without a doubt, the steak and it was cooked to absolute perfection. The meat was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The char on the outside was a beautiful contrast to the succulent interior. The accompanying sides were equally delicious, complementing the steak beautifully. The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel like VIPs. We had a wonderful meal in the garden patio area at Bistro 44. Our party reserved a table which was set and ready in the dining room, though we decided to move to the beautiful patio area and accommodated quickly The server was attentive, and pleasant person that provided very accurate information about the menu which helped us to decide the best options. We each started with a refreshing Gin and Tonic followed by very generous appetizer portions of Thai calamari, and Tuna tartar. Absolutely delicious! The entree course was also exceptional! Two of us ordered the twice cooked duck and two ordered the ravioli topped with lobster. Again, generous portions of well prepared delicious food. Our experience was really special as we felt so cared for by our server Andrew! We definitely plan to return to experience some of the other items on the menu and chill out in the garden patio.
