Last night we had the pleasure of having dinner with friends at Blackfish Tavern. Everything was simply wonderful. The decor is lovely and we can't wait to return and sit outside on the second floor deck!
Service was impeccable. The meal started with made-on-the premises breads, delicious cocktails, steaming hot and delicious wings, the tuna appetizer and Bang Bang Shrimp. Dinner was steaks, shrimp scampi and a wonderful Chicken Milanese. We ended our night with a fresh pot of coffee, the lemon cookie and bread pudding.
The entire evening was just perfect for our gathering of friends. Thank you for everything and continued luck to the owners. Your hard work and dedication shines through in every aspect.

Typically I don’t write negative reviews but unfortunately this will be my first. I am in the food business by myself- so I understand both aspects of owner, and patron.
We ordered The 1031, which is essentially a raw bar combo at MTP - the tuna tartar was presented completely frozen, and was difficult to eat through the ice.
The “prime rib” was most definitely NOT prime rib - only a couple of bites were palatable, and was unfortunately covered in an extremely salty sauce.
The short rib was extremely fatty, and the polenta essentially tasted like butter.
We also order the special, which was the seafood fettuccini pasta. 30 minutes after we ordered, we were then told the dish wasn’t available.
Overall, the food was not worth the dining experience. I do wish them luck, and hope they make improvements.

Just came back for our 2nd visit. Great Happy Hour. Drinks and food are great, crazy good giant curly fries amazing. Eric bartender is a pro and the owner is on site and fully engaged with his guests. We will be back again soon w more friends. Cheers

I was so happy to finally get to Blackfish Tavern! The whole vibe of the restaurant was amazing. The food, staff and overall ambiance made our night extra special. I would recommend this place to everyone! We were a party of 6, all ordered the prix fixe, and from apps, homemade bread, dinner, drinks to the dessert, it was a complete 5 star experience! Highly recommend!
Highly recommend the Calamari nice and Crispy - Roast Rib Eye French dip on a ( homemade )Ciabatta with French Fries ( cut in a very interesting shape) Home made Garlic Bread My wife had the Brat Burger and enjoyed it very much Great selections of Beer on Tap And the desserts were the best we ever had Brownie Obsession and the Basque Cheesecake both were by far the best in Flavor / Consistency and Presentation

Really difficult night for the restaurant - the food was uninspired, the service was non-existent for large gaps of time and the accoustics are awful - it is very loud. The restaurant has a long way to go in a very competitive area. Will try again down the road, but they have some work to do.

Horrible experience all around. Didn’t realize the place was valet; normally I’ll go out of my way to park down the block and walk for the express purpose of the valet NOT touching my vehicle. Valet said we weren’t allowed to park anywhere else and only he could park my truck.
It was incredibly loud inside; my girlfriend and I could barely hear each other. I don’t understand how any restaurant can screw up something as basic as chicken wings - incredibly dry, not worth finishing. Girlfriend’s dinner came out almost 20 minutes after mine; I waited for hers to come out before eating and my dish was ice cold at that point. Absolutely nothing about this place makes us want to come back. Was 100 times better when it was Churchill’s.

We absolutely love this restaurant. The food is Delicious and the service is Excellent and they did an Amazing job on the renovation. Best part is you can actually have a normal volume conversation while the music is on, great music selections as well. Love the attention to details here. We Definitely recommend this to All.
