Have never had a bad experience here. Because of circumstances made a late reservation time. Last folks in place and they were still offering more, instead of kicking us out the door.

We like to eat at bar. Food good here as was last sat night. If you get one of the two sisters bartending you will have great service. They are both excellent and friendly. if you have someone else......

Just paid $30 for chicken parm, plus .50 cents for extra cheese (that they forgot!) the sauce was cold and tasted raw like it wasn't cooked. They didn't even include a single piece of bread for $30 plus a 3% convenience fee (for ordering online)which i had to do because noone answered the phone. Not my first time here, they are all very nice so you forgive little things but i think this is my last. Way to expensive for mediocre food

Been going here more than twenty years. They no longer do thin pizzette pizzas so there is no longer a reason to go here. Most surrounding pizzerias are better by an insane margin.

Really good just missing the egg! I love all the dishes from there, discover this place not too long ago.

I'm conflicted here as to how many stars to give because this place was super confusing. I'd feel comfortable with a 2.75 How I stumbled upon Intermezzo in the first place: I was in Commack and decided to use my spidey senses instead of GPS and I unexpectedly wound up in Lloyd Harbor rather starving. Pulled into the first strip mall I could find and saw Intermezzo. Just wanted a slice of pizza but the hosts were pushing happy hour. So we sat down at annoying high top tables -- the only option besides the bar which had no 2 seats together. The happy hour menu was meh, I would have even ordered a meal if it meant I could sit at the (totally empty by the way) booth seating, but saw roasted Brussels sprouts ($10 I think), which I'm a sucker for, and they had 3 individual pizzas to choose from (also $10): Regular, vodka or margherita. I went for the marg. We waited forever then the sprouts and pizza came out at the same time. Weird combo, would have loved to have munched on the (flaming molten lava) sprouts beforehand but I digress. The pizza was the most pathetic thing I've ever seen in my life. My boyfriend and I joked (but it probably was actually true) that it looked like a red baron pizza. For a place that claims to have fresh made, brick oven pizza if you turned the slices over you could see perforations in the bottom of the crust and I doubt this came from a coal oven or pizza peel. There wasn't even any charring? A margarita pizza has fresh mozz (this had none), fresh basil (this had 1 puny basil leaf torn up and pathetically scattered) and fresh sauce. This had plops of mushed up canned plum tomatoes. So basically it was a glorified regular red baron pizza with a basil leaf and some plops of sauce. The sprouts were delicious and had a drizzle of a honey orange glaze but there was just a hint of it which was perfect. But I think the sprouts were fried and not roasted so calories. But anyway they were great. We didn't have any cocktails so I can't comment on those. There really wasn't anything else too appealing on the happy hour menu. Three types of chicken sandwiches and sliders from an Italian place? No thank you. I don't even think there were any pasta choices come to think of it. The place looks very new upon entering and it was dimly lit (so much so I could barely see the menu and had to hold the tea light up close to it just to read anything lol. Also annoying that the only seating for (un)happy hour was high tops. I'm short and those things suck! Plus what if someone with a physical disability or a wheelchair wanted to partake? I wish I just got a slice to go, would have saved me $28 lol Probably should have gone into the Chinese place next door, they were getting way more business ;)

Order buffalo pizza and got bbq pizza instead - not the first time the girl gets order wrong - sorry but don't need this sort of problem with pizza -I mean it's take out pizza - how hard is it to get an order right???

Came on a slow Rainy Sunday around 12:30pm, Will was taking care of the bar and taking the orders. I never been around here and it was recommended so I decided to try their Chicken Francaise because I love citrus/lemon flavors. Their Sauce was INSANE and the chicken was incredibly tender. The flavors with each bite, smothered in sauce was heaven in my mouth. I used all the vegetables to slack up any sauce that was left!

One star is really a lot for this restaurant. I will NEVER recommend this place to dine. Service is super bad, they don’t acknowledge you when you arrive. Servers are very unfriendly. Please go somewhere else. Very mediocre restaurant. I ha to leave before I was able to order. I never got the menu, that’s how wonderful the service was.

The Hispanic guy who makes the pizzas and stand right behind the register where you pick up your take out . He put pieces of hair in my pizza because I ordered 10 mins before close . Every time I see him now he laughs at me . I’m surprised he’s still working there he’s a filthy animal . He should be fired .
