Want to relive your favorite upstate NY college experience when you take a work or study break on Long Island? Then check out Batata, with room to sit outside or inside. Sometimes, when I sit outside, I see deer across the street, even around rush hour time. Great spot for a sandwich, burrito, a smoothie or a great cappuccino. Make sure you ask them about the different salsas. I would be kind and ask to try a few before you make your choice. Best Half the price of Starbucks! Service is great. The only bummer is that I want to pick up my coffee on my way to work when I go to the office, but they dont open till 11am!

Overall great service and food quality. The portions are a bit skimpy though for the prices; especially when you order a burger and side of waffle fries. But if you have the money to spend, go for it.

Interesting selection of wraps, Paninis and salads!! Very clean too!!

This is about the one in Radford, Virginia I’ve always ordered something to go from here. Today we ate inside and we’re discussed by all the cobwebs on everything above !! Just waiting for something to fall on us or food. Please do a deep upper clean soon !! It’s Gross

This place never disappoints. The food is always fresh and tasty.

We ordered for a graduation party on a busy Saturday. After some initial confusion, due to an employee who told us to order on the day of the party - not before, Nicole put together an amazing buffet with very little lead time. My guests loved everything. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious, the quesadillas were delicious and the ribs were a crowd favorite, The food is terrific - just make sure to order in advance if you have a large number of guests.

Good food. Can be a bit pricey. Atmosphere is just ok. They charge extra to use a credit card;

Rebecca helped both on the phone and in person when picking up our to-go order. She was incredibly helpful and polite. Made a very good 1st impression trying Macadoos. Will definitely be returning

Good food and staff.

I have been going to Batata for years. Work close by, usually take out, sometimes sit down. Most of the items I've ordered are good, but I've noticed sometimes they "fill" their wraps or sandwiches with lettuce or other cheaper items. Today I got the Thanksgiving Wrap. there was literally ONE piece of turkey on it, and the rest was filled with stuffing. Very disappointing, for a wrap that costs $12.00

Great burgers, great service. Honestly, I plan on returning soon even though I'm located quite a distance away. This place is special, and I highly recommend it
