We moved to Northport 3 years ago and Main Street Cafe quickly became our favorite restaurant, not just because the food is delicious and the staff is so friendly, but the customers are delightful! Everyone is in a great mood. The prices are reasonable. Trivia contest on Tuesday nights are a lot of fun.

This is a hidden gem. The food was delicious. I had a cheeseburger platter, but it was one of the best I had on a toasted bun. The potato skins were delicious. The small feel of a quint pub. I'm definitely going back and highly recommend

I had the buffalo chicken wrap. It was as amazing! There potatoes are so great. Nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. So good!

This is the second time my partner and I have eaten at Main Street Cafe. Such a warm and cozy place. The decor is inviting and rustic, which I prefer. If you're into new "hipster" type of vibes, this isn't the spot for you.The staff are super nice. The restaurant is clean. The bar is a great place to get a drink. Folks are pleasant. This last time we ate at the table near the front window. A tad bit cold there on a winter day with the door opening just fyi. Sit near the far wall, not next to the door. The food - we had burgers. My partner had a bacon cheeseburger cooked medium and I had the turkey burger. Very good. Fries were hot and bun was nice and warm. If you prefer thin cut fries, these aren't that. These are steak fries cooked nice and crispy. Great place to eat, conveniently located on Main St. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love Main street Cafe. It's one of the best restaurants in Northport. The prices are reasonable, the food is always delicious, and the ambiance is fun/lively. I highly recommend the Salmon Wrap for lunch and the Linguini with Clam Sauce for dinner. Yum! Plus, it's the perfect location for a post-dinner walk on the water.

I love the village of Northport this time of year, and this is my favorite place for lunch. I had the Vermont burger and my husband had the pasta. Excellent ad usual! Cosy! Yum!

Small homey restaurant. Bartender was really really nice. Food was good, we'd go back again. Not much for happy hour, though

Great for soup and sandwich after tourists leave! I wish the washed glasses behind bar in a dishwasher.

Waited a while to sit down. Even on a Wednesday night the place was crowded, but the wait is worth it. Had a very nice Manhattan clam chowder to start. My Peroni was a little warm, had a good 4 inches of foam on top the beer because of this. Had a burger for my main course, and as always the burger was excellent. Unfortunately our waitress never checked back on us until she brought us the check, but even slightly subpar service can't take away from the nice atmosphere and great food.

Loved this place! Quaint bar with great food. We pooped in for a quick lunch and loved the homemade fries and the veggie wrap and chicken sandwich with the Brie. Delish!
