Excellent food and service. The new owners are wonderfully nice. Steamed dumplings were excellent! We also loved the sesame chicken and shrimp with lobster sauce. They have not received liquor license yet but you may bring your own. Very clean and comfortable. My suggestions to the owners would be dimmer lighting, soft music and higher quality dinner napkins. I very rarely leave a review. But based on my experience yesterday, I have to say that this place is a hidden gem. Food is traditional Chinese/American food. But the quality is better and fresher. Highly recommended. And the staff is also very attentive and very nice! Bonus, the price for the combo meals is amazing! $15 for the entree, side of soup, a egg roll, side of pork fried rice, and a small ice cream bowl is fantastic!

After fun trip to Sunken Meadows park, my friends and I were starving and found this lovely little American-Chinese restaurant. If I’m being honest, I did not expect such an authentic Chinese tasting restaurant so deep into Long Island, so I had to leave a review. The teppanyaki beef was my absolute favorite — the meat was tender and it was a great compliment to the fried rice — and the mapo tofu had the perfect kick without being too spicy. I was also overjoyed that none of the dishes were greasy. Flavors were great. 10/10 would recommend.

This was my first time coming back since they renovated. We dined in and the service was really nice. You get complimentary fried wontons which are replenished when you finish them. I would recommend getting something from the combination menu, you get a lot of food for a low price, and it's good! The quality of the food has improved so much and the dining area is a lot more open now. It was a really pleasant experience and we will be sure to come back.

This place used to be very good. Now it is just average. Restaurant is dimly lit, and most surfaces covered with a layer of grime. Lunch take out called in 20 minutes earlier was not ready. Stood in front for 5 minutes before anyone came to see what I wanted. It's a shame, this was an old school gem, now just another crummy, dingy spot.

I stopped in just for an order of wonton soup. I haven't been here I think since the new owners took over but I think that will change now.
I ordered the pint of wonton with bok choy and was pleasantly surprised to the huge slices of pork in there as well as the vibrant green leaves of bok choy. When I ask for BC I usually get the stems/base and get charged an arm and a leg for it. I also asked for extra crispy noodles and there were plenty! Just make sure if you need any sauces you help yourself at the table adjacent to the register. The friendly service and delicious soup has enticed me back.
