The food quality was outstanding and very authentic. The sauces were absolutely superbly made. Very generous portion sizes. The atmosphere felt like being in Germany. The staff were friendly. Highly recommend!
A staple when we're back home visiting family and friends. Food is delicious and the staff makes you feel like family. We stopped in for lunch last weekend. My daughter and I split a turkey club and we were stuffed.
Excellent authentic German fare! My wife and I were warmly greeted by owner Artie Glad and served by Lisa, one of Pumpernickel's efficient & friendly servers appropriately dressed in their dirndl/lederhosen attire. Once we tasted their delicious fresh baked pumpernickel bread, we could hardly wait to dig in to our meals!
