A great hangout, not over-blown or dramatic. Simple place to grab a beer, enjoy some good food and relax. If you're a beer drinker, and are sick of the 1 million IPA brands, check out a true UK beer called "Old Speckled Hen". This is the only place I've seen on Long Island that has it on tap! Oi! Cheers to the Scots!!

This is a very cute place in downtown Northport Village. This is an older building which many of them are, so the exposed brick as part of the decor is very cool. The old door at the entry foyer is definitely cool. The food is good...not unbelievable.. but good... The prices are a bit high for what the portions are and the quality of the food... The desserts were probably the best part... The red Sangria was "ok" not fabulous. The waitress Stephanie was great. Really nice, cool chick! Was very attentive and cared very much if we were happy with everything. She gets 10 stars ? ⭐️ lol. The place is pretty small and also a little too bright... All in all was cute and decent.Vegetarian options: Definitely some veg optionsParking: It's street parking and not easy to find a spot so a walk down the street to get to the restaurant was necessary. The town is so cute it's fun to walk and window shop anyway. ☺️

If you want to indulge yourself in an evening of unpretentious, non-egotistical, and diametrical millennial ladder climbing dining, Rockin Fish continues to set the bar for simply a great night out. Even on a very crowded Thursday night, service was spot-on, and the food was perfectly consistent and fell well within our wheelhouse. The ambience screams coziness. With all the new, highfalutin restaurants opening in the area, there's a simplicity about this place that has made it our go-to spot since it opened. And, we're legitimate foodies who have a number of Michelin Star experiences under our belts. Regardless of all comparisons, and on its own, Rockin Fish continues to withstand the test of time. Can't wait to go back.

Service was fine, but the food didn't leave a good impression. $23 for a chicken sandwich, with cold, thin, soggy fries.

What happened to this place. I have been here previously and it was great. Not the case tonight. 1hr to get our apps. OK, after another 1/2 hr we checked and was told kitchen was extremely backed up and we would get our entrees in about another 20 to 30 mins. 2 hrs and no entrees. Waitress Grace was so apologetic

Raw Oysters, This review was from a few months ago when they had their annual shut down the street fair with Antique cars and live music. I think it was called family fun night. I didn't hang out. Hea guys really! I've been coming here for years. I ordered half dozen Oysters $1.50 after 3:00. I sat outside what are the great side babe blood orange ambition brew that quenched my thirst. My Oysters came out on a bed of crushed ice with a slice of lemon and red sauce. Right away I noticed my oysters were smaller than the shell itself I picked it up and noticed my shell was cold but when I bit into it the Oyster it was warm with no oyster liquor. Did I just eat canned Oysters. Now I'm pissed I call my waiter and told him not to serve me this ever. He offered to redo my order. He came out with four oysters in a Moat. My shaved ice had melted. Really your to lazy to put my Oysters on a fresh bed of shaved ice. I was one of their only customers after 3:30. I have pictures of my moat. Thank God I can amuse myself.

The food was disappointing. I had Cod fish fry with French Fries. The Cod Fish tasted like it was frozen. The Fries were also for sure frozen. The rolls were not fresh. I do have to say the salad and salad dressing was good. Our server was very polite and professional. The ambiance is OK, nothing special.

Great food in a casual atmosphere. Great service (our waitress was very attentive). Service was fast! We had the whole fish grilled and the grouper special. Very yummy! Would go back if I was in the area!

I like Rockin' Fish- I get the same thing every time-Cod BLT, and I always like it. They have a good beer selection and service is always attentive. I think this is probably the best restaurant in the village. Prices, I guess average.

Best when the weather is nice for outdoor seating. Interesting menu choices and good service are the hallmarks here. Food is well executed. As weather becomes cooler inside dining is good if you don't mind a pub setting. Good choice if you're going to a show at the local theatre.
