I dined at this restaurant with three other friends on Sunday, 8/17. We had food off of the $37 menu. It is a three-course dinner. I had the Fried Calamari, done perfectly, Filet Mignon, also done perfectly, and chocolate ice cream dessert. The food and service were over the top. They also have a party room that can hold 70 people.
I highly recommend SYMI for your dining pleasure. Enjoy.

Great Greek place in Northport. Food tasted excellent and they give you good portions. Managers were around checking on everything. Went on a Thursday and they have a Dj which brought great energy to the place. Can’t wait to try out the Bougie Brunch which is every second Saturday of the month.

Attended a party at Symi and it was great! Staff and owner were super friendly and attentive to party guests; staying on top of drinks and food, clearing off the tables and asking how everything was. The staff was also very aware, cautious and pleasantly unbothered by all the children running around! Everything I ate was delicious; especially the sesame crusted feta with figs, zucchini/eggplant chips and spanakopita. Aesthetically, a bright airy clean restaurant, and a plus that it was beautifully decorated for Christmas! Overall, great experience!

Absolutely Wow! I first came to Symi when I attended a family members birthday dinner and was blown away by the amazingly fresh and impressive seafood towers, octopus cooked to perfection, their signature dips (hands down the best tzatziki I’ve ever had!!), the filet Mignon literally melts in your mouth and you’re surround by a beautiful Fun and pristine atmosphere.
I was so impressed that I quickly booked a date night dinner for my husband and I. Their ocean wave cocktail was perfection and delivered on presentation with the sugar cube on fire ! This time we shared the Symi chips, Greek salad and spanakopita for appetizers and split a lobster pasta for our entree. Every plate was better than the next! The staff regularly checked on us and overall was extremely attentive!
After that I was excited to book a private event for my sons 1st birthday party (20 adults and 15 kids) . I worked with the amazing Irena who gave extremely honest suggestions curated for my party type and menu needs. The attention to detail was greatly appreciated !!! The birthday party exceeded my expectations, I’m still getting compliments from guests on how delicious everything was, their lamb chops were a huge hit !!
A special thank you to Irena, Mike, Eduardo, the talented chefs and attentive staff for making my event so special!
It’s safe to say we will be coming back to Symi again and again!

Experienced Symi as part of a larger birthday celebration over the weekend. The area the party was in was clean, spacious and offers great light. The appetizers were to die for, especially the Sesame feta and the Mediterranean octopus.
I had the lamb chops as my main and loved them! My husband said he wants to go back just for my Horta and I can’t wait for more of the Greek yoghurt.
The way they do their celebrations is so fun, you feel like you’re transported to a cool and classy club.
Highly recommend for date night, girls night out or for a celebration with lots of your friends and family. The owner and staff do a great job of making sure you’re well taken care of and having the best time.

I've been looking for a place to take family - Grandma, grandkids, brother's family, etc. - out for the holidays. We all enjoy Greek food very much, so I thought 'why don't I do take out and sample some of the key dishes before committing?' which I did on a Sunday evening. I have to say that over the phone and in person, the staff were friendly and welcoming - could not have been nicer.
However, the bill for takeout (some appetizers and 2 soups, no main courses) was shockingly high $157?? We ordered the avgolemono soup and I was at least expecting the full size soup container for $14 each, but they gave us the small size. (I order PHO and get a HUGE bowl of soup for that price.) Anyway, the color and texture seemed right (bright yellow & smooth, no curdling), but it had NO lemon flavor! Zero. How can there be no lemon in Greek LEMON soup???? Also, it had a burnt after taste. Yuck. Huge disappointment. :(
However, the spanakopita was flaky, fresh and delicious. Yum. The calamari was wonderful and prepared in a way I wasn't expecting. (Not fried?) However, there was not enough sauce to dip all of the calamari. :( (3 teaspoons tops?? C'mon.) Also, the meatballs with tzatziki sauce was also delicious. We also ordered the leek rice and the broccolini with feta - both side dishes were tasty.
Soooo, I know it takes a while to sort stuff out with a new establishment, and I want to give credit where credit is due. I don't know if this was a 1-off or if there are still some quality issues going on in the kitchen, but I do hope they are able to continue to address areas where things fall short.
The restaurant looked clean and bright and festive inside and the staff was totally lovely. As a corporate coach, I also encourage corporate teams to solicit constant feedback and keep that loop open! Sometimes staff tells you what you want to hear, as do customers who don't want to complain. Continuous quality improvement is not a one and done, it's an ongoing activity!! Not sure if another visit is in the cards for us to do more taste-testing, but I do wish Symi luck going forward.

Sami has officially become my go-to spot for Greek cuisine! Their unique twist on traditional flavors is absolutely amazing, and I have to give a special shoutout to a few standout dishes: the signature symi chips and the lamb burger.
The symi chips are pure perfection! Thinly sliced eggplant, fried to crispy, golden-brown bliss, and seasoned just right. They’re light yet packed with flavor, and they come with a tangy dipping sauce that adds the perfect balance. I could honestly eat these all day—they’re one of those must-try dishes you can’t find anywhere else!
Then there’s the lamb burger. This burger is an absolute dream for any lamb lover. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection, it’s topped with fresh, crisp veggies and a delicious sauce that brings it all together. Each bite is an explosion of Mediterranean flavors, making it both familiar and refreshingly unique.
The ambiance and service only add to the experience—warm, inviting, and authentic. Sumo is hands down a must-visit for anyone who loves Greek food or just amazing food in general. Highly recommend stopping by, if only for the Symi chips and lamb burger!

Cook insisted on putting spices on my fish after I explicitly told them not to. This happened twice. Food is a la carte. Food plates are small. They need more sweeter wines. They only offer dry or semi dry. The DJ is a plus on Friday. Classy vibe. I am not a fan of the mandatory valet. I have a nice vehicle and do not prefer a stranger sitting in my car who has sat in every other car, nonetheless driving my vehicle.
Parking: Mandatory valet. Not preferred. Offer self park.
