High end Mediterranean/Greek food, beautifully prepared and presented. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The grilled whole fish were delicious and the grilled octopus is to die for. We didn't have dessert but the choices were very appealing.

One of the only Greek spots offering a Kyma Thursday night feel in Suffolk county, since Noema closed down. I must say I been here a few times & this is my final time on Valentine’s Eve! Everything took forever the service was slow & the drinks were not good. The restaurant itself is beautiful welcoming decor & lighting. But damn what a let down!We specifically ask for Don Julio Blanco & yet they serve us Casamigos & the cocktail tasted terrible. It took us about 15min to get the complimentary bread. We tried to order the Seafood Tower, but they were out of the Shrimp. Then we tried to order the Feta Cheese & they were out of that too. From being to end it was a bad experience. The food took so long we ended taking most of it to go, including the desert.
FYI: They add a 20% service charge on the bill & an additional 3% if you use a credit card! Even w/ the slow & bad service we still had a $100 tip. This is something recent I threw my birthday in the end of 2024 & the fees were not automatically added to the bill!

Great lunch menu. We had the salmon and sea bass. Excellent! Appetizers were just as good!
The experience was disappointing from the start. The staff came across as rude and argumentative, which immediately set the wrong tone for the evening. Several items we initially wanted to order were unavailable and when the food did arrive it came out in a very awkward sequence. For example the lamb chops a main course arrived first, followed nearly 20 minutes later by calamari we had almost forgotten about, and then meatballs after that. It made the whole meal feel disorganized. The overall vibe felt off. Our waiter was not very attentive, although the food runners did try to help by addressing missing items and checking in when dishes arrived, which we appreciated. The DJ also lacked energy and didn't create the kind of atmosphere we were hoping for on a Saturday night. Honestly, the ambiance might have been better with a curated playlist instead of a live set.
We went for our birthdays. We love greek food and were not disappointed. The Service and the food were outstanding. There is nothing comparable to grilled fresh fish. Our waiter was extremely attentive. Thankfully, there was no live music and we were able to hold a conversation. Highly recommend. We will be back. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.
Great casual restaurant with very pretty aesthetics. The Dips, Hummus and chips were delicious and the red snapper for two was light and perfectly paired with an order of lemon potatoes.
The Fixed Price Monday through Thursday is a good value. Service was very attentive. We look forward to going back again.
We have dined at Symi a few times in the past and found everything to be amazing. However, last night my husband ordered the pork chop, which was brought to the table completely rare. He noticed after he took a bite that it was not fully cooked. They brought it back to the kitchen to cook it a little more, but by that time he no longer had an appetite. Service was wonderful and the ambience was amazing as well. Use caution and make sure your food is fully cooked when it comes to the table.
Overall we had a great experience and the staff was very attentive and the food was good - We only had apps but everything was great - Symi Chips - the best and Spanakopita and Shrimp Saganaki were yummy! Will definitely be back!

Food is beautifully presented and delicious. The service is poor. Members of the same table appetizers delivered 20 minutes apart. Long wait for order to be taken. Long wait for drinks. Dining room so tight that servers consistently knock the chairs as they pass... and the noise level in the back rooms is CRAZY. But great food! Suggest take out!
My family truly enjoyed our time at Symi. We enjoyed the ambiance, the attentive staff and the food and drinks. It was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be back.
The restaurant was beautifully decorated a true Greek experience The menu is excellent the food even better and the service outstanding thank you to George for an incredible evening!!!!
Good was not that bad just make sure you like seafood as that's very prominent on the menu , meaning which is very limited on food options . Beware though they ridiculously charge 17$ for a standard drink and im not talking a signature cocktail here either ,that being said I can and saw ate and won't ever be back again there .
