The purple elephant is awesome! Lots of health conscious options. Their non alcoholic cocktail options are fantastic! They have the best nachos I've ever had in my life, the food is high quality and the atmosphere is so much fun! I've been coming here on a regular basis for years and it just keeps getting better!

Known about this place for years and heard about it from many people. Never really considered this type of food. So when plan A didn't work we went to plan B. Well, I'm here to tell you that this place should be a plan A. The food is delicious. The service is kind and genuine.

My husband and I love this place. Great service and dietary restriction options. Only complaint is a little over priced but we still come every now and then.

Great fresh prepared food, both vegan and non-vegan. The Thai Elephant (Cauliflower) appetizer is awesome! Owner Sam, is very attentive and accommodating. Talked football (soccer) with Armando the waiter, thanks for the great service!

I was hesitant to check this place out but now it's my jam! Lol, I Love their nachos, buffalo cauliflower, and more things I've had from there are really really good. I can't wait to go back again!

This place was a bit magical. I am a huge fan of Costa Rica and so I was truly inspired to see and tast the cuisine inspired. Especially because the cuisine was vegan friendly. I think the tables close to the kitchen/bathroom should be removed it's very untasteful and dungeon like-Overall my expirence was really nice, had I been seated in a more appropriate place I woul've ordered more than just a slew of appetizers on the menu.

Came here one night looking forward to a great vegan meal to go after a long day of work. When I walked in the girl who was working was sitting with her friend having a cocktail, looked at me, laughed and said, sorry we're closed. I said, what do you mean? The door was open and your sign says you're open for another hour... she said sorry, We're closed now, and walked me to the door. I don't care how good the food might be, rude is not worth my money.

One of our favorite spots for Vegan food. And the view of the boats out back is really nice for a date. The chocolate cake and the mousse are to die for.

Another great meal today at The Purple Elephant. My pics aren't good but the food was wonderful and satisfying. In addition to the Mac Attack with Beyond Sausage and the Gonzos Surfer Bowl, we also had the Vegan Wings (sorry, no pic). We shared the Dark Chocolate Avocado Mousse, which was creamy and delicious. The service is always great. Armando is usually our server and he's friendly and attentive. The deck area is enclosed for the winter with heat, so we still felt like we were outside without being cold. So nice to not feel confined in the winter. Again, forgive the bad pics please and go eat there. There's gluten free and non-vegan food there, too.

They took all the culture out of this place mind as well name the place WHITE elephant. I miss the colorfulness and homey ambiance, now it feels gentrified. Idk if it's a new owner or what but bring THE COLOR and the MIXED TUNE VIBES back please. Where is the bob Marley where is the good oldie music ? All country tunes now. Not even rock tunes. Food is still pretty good though. You can say I have mixed feelings for this new renovation.

This was a lovely find on Long Island, we’ve been looking for somewhere we could get tasty healthy vegan/vegetarian food, it’s been a long annoying search. Looking forward to visiting again in the summer so we can enjoy their outdoor area which has gorgeous views. The food looks rich but it tastes light and yummy ?Vegetarian options: There are tons of vegan and vegetarian options, yummy

Lots of good vegan options. Solidly 50% overpriced. We got a salad and an entree for $50.
