I used to come here as a kid. We recently brought 3 kids (including a baby) and our waitress was SO GOOD with them! It’s always A little overwhelming bringing kids out to eat, But it was the best experience I’ve had in a long time. Also the food is amazing!

I ordered a turkey burger. When my plate came I was very disappointed! The cole slaw was served in a tiny paper squeeze cup (normally used for ketchup) and a small pickle. I would have been better off eating at a fast food place for the price I paid. I live locally but will not return.

I can't wait to get back to my beloved home LI, best people anywhere and go to Venus again! I loved their gyro sandwiches with the yogurt dipping sauce and their crisp French fries! So good!

Every restaurant can be disappointing on rare occasions. However, disappointing seems to be the new norm for Venus. In recent times we have experienced wilted Greek salads, rancid turkey burgers and now we can add Gyros with very stale pita bread and Gyro chicken as tough as shoe leather. As a long time customer, (40 years), we have given Venus every opportunity to prove themselves, but no more. Other family members and friends have voiced similar complaints and will no longer patronize Venus. You can add us to the list.

Fresh Greek salad is a very large portion and all the veggies were fresh. The gyros were huge and perfect after a long day exploring Long Island. My sister recommended Venus and she was correct.
