Enjoyed a family meal here (including small kids) and were taken care of very nicely. We all enjoyed our food and drinks very much and the portions were large enough that we took home a lot. The kids were treated nicely and our whole experience was enjoyable. Would go back.

We had eaten at Vespa in the past and enjoyed our meals so when my wife received a take out offer of $55 for enough food for 4 people we decided to take advantage of it. We ordered the deal for 3 people and it is actually enough food for 6, aside from the salad. The best part about the deal is the food was very good. We ordered the Caesar salad (enough for 4), The penne Bolognese, and the Chicken Marsala. All very good with lots of leftovers for lunch and dinner today.

This spot is a spot I am rooting for! It's a newish place in my town and the meals I've had there have been hit and miss at dinner but no absolute bombs. That said, lunch the was a huge disaster. Soup was salty and sandwich was burnt! Chef needs to taste and look at his food before it leaves the kitchen. Our server was wonderful and it was the bright spot of the meal.

I thought the food and service was excellent. However, it is worth noting that the restaurant was fairly quiet during our time at the restaurant. Also, it seemed that despite ordering the same cut of New York Strip steak, my date and I got what appeared to be two different-sized cuts of meat which seemed odd. But, overall, it was a solid dining experience!

Overall experience was very good. Food was oversized portions and tasty. Service was excellent. Joe, our waiter, was very attentive, personable, and accommodating. Very enjoyable dinner experience.

We haven't been to Vespa in over a year but I'm glad we went back. Place was packed and we were seated right away with our reservation. Joe R was our server and he was fantastic! Always smiling, great sense of humor, couldn't ask for anyone better. The place was extremely loud, uncomfortably louder than most restaurants! Food was excellent, everyone raved about their meals. Good size portions too. Great experience again but this was the first time we were seated in the front portion of the restaurant, we've also been in the back by the bar. They had a wall mounted TV in this large dinning room with an odd TV station showing the "Conan O'Brien show" Several customers asked to have their table moved while sitting under this but it made no sense of why a TV is running in the middle of a large dinning area. Just odd.

Nice ambiance and excellent waiter and experience. Food was decent. Fish is farm raised and looked massive like it was on steroids. Wouldn’t recommend the seafood here at all.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Found the drinks to be too expensive for happy hour. Food was very good ?

My fiance and I went to Vespa in Northport last night for their happy hour. We sat at a 2 top in the bar area. The bartender (forgot his name unfortunately) was attentive and patient. From 4-7pm they have 25% off cocktails, wine, and beer and $10 apps. We had a glass of Cabernet, a seasonal beer (forgot name) on draft, and 3 apps: the margarita pizza, mini antipasto board, and the meatball sliders. Everything was delicious and we took most of the pizza home. I've been there for dinner and lunch and their other dishes are just as delicious. I highly recommend Vespa for a great night out. The decor is lovely, the music isn't loud and the service is wonderful.

food is top notch, very busy so service takes forever since not enough waiters. Noise level is unreasonably high and if a group impossible to hear anything. Go during week because of noise and service not on weekends. I

Always a favorite. This visit service was somewhat slow. It appears they need more wait staff. Noise level up there but the food quality off sets that. Varied menu with great choices and high quality. Only issue we had was one of their premiere menu items, stuffed artichoke, pulled from the menu. Truly a disappointment

Overpriced pizza parlor quality food with Michelin Chef prices. My wife and I are lovers of Italian food. There are tons of wonderful places to enjoy quality Italian on the island, but this is just a sad. It'd be nice if they dimmed their lights a bit and added a garnish to their Stop & Shop-bought a la cart meats? Who wants a scorching hot plate consisting of just the meat they ordered with no garlic or thyme garnish? It just seems like they put more effort into dressing their servers in these overthought outfits than the quality of the dishes. Why make them wear white if they are regularly serving red wines/red sauce? Wouldn't return.

Reservation was at 5pm, seated promptly. Server Michael was excellent. Immediately bought out water and bread. Placed our drink order and had in a few minutes. Riesling was delicious as well as they Old Fashioned. Had a gluten free pie and a regular balsamic, prosciutto, tomato pie for appetizers.I had the gluten free pie, was excellent. Others at the table had the other pie and loved it. For dinner, we had the filet, pasta with sausage (gluten free), spaghetti and meatballs, and shrimp with a rice risotto. Everyone was very happy with meals. Very tasty. Vespa is s great restaurant, look forward to going back again. Keep up the great work!

When you go to a restaurant with your dad who knows everyone, you can't help but have a great time. We went for drinks and had a blast!! The staff was super friendly, shared lots of great stories from trips to europe and hysterical serenades and introducing us to green tea shots.Next time I'm on long island I'll get food and leave a more thorough review.

Vespa checks all the boxes for us - Attentive and friendly wait-staff, amazing food, large portions, comfy chairs (yeah that's important). I also love that they have more than just the usual Italian food that you can get in just about any of the zillions of Italian restaurants on Long Island, Including desserts. They are not insanely expensive either, which allows us to order really good wine if we want. Can't wait for our next visit!
