A no thrills Delicatessen. Don't know why they use the word "Bagelry", the bagels are stale & I don't think they actually make them themselves. The salads suck! Huge chunks of cabbage in the Coleslaw. The Potato salad has Huge chunks of unsliced potato . The people working there all look miserable & unhappy

The food here is good, the bread and rolls some of the best. The OWNER, however, is an insufferable **ick who treats his staff like garbage, yelling at them and talking down to them in front of customers. I sh*t talk him to his employees when he isn't around and they always laugh. Guys a loser. Why do you I still give him money, you ask? Because his EMPLOYEES make the food and do a good job. They may not always be overly friendly but I don't blame them, having to work for that a**hole and dealing with some of the rude, entitled clientele that frequents the place. I come for the sandwiches and to make of him behind his back lol

Village Deli is amazing .... customer service is excellent!! The sandwichs/paninis/salads are always fresh abd absolutely delicious.I recommend to anyone looking for a great deli to give them a try

I usually have such a great experience here. It seems they hired someone new with very little customer service experience. She was so unkind. Not welcoming at all. Barely put any filling on my bagel and prepared it carelessly. I was very disappointed in the service this time.

Hands down the best bagel place in the area! Such nice staff, always makes my order promptly. Best egg sandwiches too! They don't kill the bacon and actually make over easy eggs, over easy! Definitely my go to place!

This past Friday, I stopped by for a bagel with cream cheese. As I was waiting for it, a young man was separating eggs over a bowl in the cooking area. He wore a baseball cap and didn't have gloves on. I watched him as he poured the yolk from one half of the shell to another. He noticed me watching him and dropped the half shell into the bowl. It was bad enough that he wasn't wearing gloves, he next reached with his bare hands, into the bowl, to retrieve the egg shell. Some unfortunate person was going to have this unsanitary food served to them. Staff were working right next to this young man and no one seemed to find his actions unsanitary. I'd never eat there again.
