Outside Patio on the GSL is the best seating. The view is pretty. The pub menu is nothing to rave about but food edible. Fun band and dancing Friday nights.Wheelchair accessibility: There's wheelchair access with limited parking for handicap parking.
Hubby and I stopped by Sport Island Pub & Restaurant for dinner while visiting upstate NY this past weekend. We were greeted right away and told to sit anywhere we liked. Our server came over and we ordered a couple beers. Hubby enjoyed his Oktoberfest and I liked my go-to Guinness, both were perfectly cold and delicious. We decided to share 2 orders of boneless wings - hot and Italian honey garlic. These boneless wings were great! They really tasted homemade and fresh. The chicken was juicy, the breading was crispy. I loved the Italian honey garlic! It was super flavorful, definitely unique as far as wing sauces go. Hot was good as well, nice level of spice and flavor. Their blue cheese dressing was amazing! One of best I've ever had. The interior was nicer than I expected. TVs were mounted throughout. Perfect place for sports, beer and pub food!

This location is on the Great Lake Sacandaga beautiful view of the lake the food was great the service was excellent. You can drive in by car or boat in would recommend.Parking: It can get very busy in the summer hard to find parking.Kid-friendliness: GrandKids had a blast there

After we arrived we actually waited about 20 minutes and nobody came out to wait on us I finally had to ask another waiter for some help And the guy that they sent over was not very good

Normally a great place to go. Right on the lake, inside, glass enclosed, outside seating. The choice is yours. Very busy place but normally not hard to get a seat. The food is good - it's a pub - good atmosphere. i ordered a chicken sandwich specifically with NO pickle. I absolutely hate pickles. As my basket arrived - big pickle was served. I sent it back as it was being delivered. I do NOT consider just taking it off correcting the problem. No clean paper in my basket. NO fresh bun that does not have pickle juice on it. So - instead of correcting the issue - i could only eat half of my sandwich. I guess i would think twice going back. It's open all year and we make several trips there. Maybe not any more.

We had dinner on the deck on a beautiful evening. The food and seating were great. The service was excellent, our waitress was the best. She (sorry don't remember her name) was incredible. Very helpful and perfect amount of attention.
