“Hi Sara, My daughter surprised me and brought me a Corned beef and cabbage dinner on the 17 and I was so surprised. I have to say it was perfect meaning the meat was so lean and cooked perfect and of course so were the potatoes and cabbage. I enjoyed it so much, please say hi to the cooks in the kit for me.”

“If you’re looking for a hole in the wall with great food, good service and cool people this is the place. We’ve been there three times now and never disappointed. Burgers are fantastic, the beer is cold and drinks are hearty plus they’re open 7 days a week year round which is fantastic if you live here on the lake. Met the owner last night and he’s a great guy very down to earth and friendly. The patrons are equally as friendly and down to earth. I highly recommend this place and I hear the wings are great so that’s MY next order.”

“This was an absolutely delightful find yesterday! Everything we ordered was delicious! Prices were very fair and tough thing to find nowadays. The waitress was absolutely lovely! “My companion and I had dinner at Placid Pines earlier this week. I ordered the Reuben Grill sandwich and he had the Open-Faced Hot Roast Beef sandwich. Both were excellent. The corned beef in my Reuben was very lean and delicious, as was his roast beef. We both had the pumpkin crunch cheesecake for dessert, which was also very good. For a small pub like Placid Pines to serve such delicious food is a testament to their chef and kitchen staff.”
