“We got to experience the Pine Lake Lodge when we were invited to attend a business retreat. The accommodations are so comfortable, cozy and spacious, with more than enough room to accommodate 13 of us. We were treated to a 4 course catered dinner, which was incredible! The bar and game room are a great bonus and provided the perfect surroundings for a fun and laid-back evening. We can’t wait to go back!”

“Loved the place! Had some excellent buffalo wings and a couple of brews. Good service and friendly bartenders. They have a nice outside deck with a bar, very handy since the band plays outside in good weather. Speaking of the band, you have got to check out these guys "Skitchin" especially if you like good rock music. Of course I might be prejudiced because their lead singer is my son. Get up to Caroga lake and check out Vroomans.”

“March 2nd I had the pleasure of dining out at your beautiful Restaurant. The food was excellent and the portions were massive. One will be feasting on their meal for 3 days. So freshly prepared! All the staff were awesome and never rushed you as one took in the relaxing atmosphere. I had the special, rib eye steak with scallops, shrimp and lobster tail. The entertainment was fabulous!!!!! Brian D is out of this world!!! I enjoyed one of your specialty drinks. Mixed to perfection. It is a night I shall always remember and I will come back and highly recommend your restaurant!!!! “Was busy but still only had to wait around 25 minutes, the food made it well worth the wait. I have been many times and have never had an experience that wasn't great. Their eggs and omelets are great, the bacon is great, and so are the home fries. The gluten free pancakes are some of the best I've had and I have never experienced an allergic reaction from them. Very nice people aswell.Dietary restrictions: Safe options for gluten allergy that also taste great.Parking: More than enough parking space, and if it's full the street parking is free.”

“Foodies work here. And I mean that in the best possible way. They don't just MAKE cider, wings and fries, they CRAFT them with love. We eat wings everywhere and these are some of the best we've ever had (we do wish they offered a traditional Buffalo sauce but we'll forgive them for that). The fries are literally made from scratch and they taste like it. And the ciders are full of flavor without being too sweet or too dry. Don't show up expecting to rush off... The food takes time but the great service and quaint atmosphere makes the wait pleasant.”

“Coming here has become a tradition now for me and my daughter. First just walking in there, the atmosphere is welcoming from the decor to the staff. The service here is amazing. They are so friendly. Yes it takes a little time to get your food, but that's because it is made to order. Which I will wait because it's so worth it. Everything that both me and my daughter have gotten is delicious with fantastic prices. Thank You for such great service and quality food.”

“Made a reservation for 11:30 AM on a Sunday morning, we got there 20 minutes late and they still allowed us to sit in our table with no problem with nothing but smiles! The hostess and the waitress were really sweet, asked if if it was the first time visiting, and informed us of how the food was going to be buffet styled.The ambiance was cozy with Easter decor, a piano in the middle of the dining room, taxidermy and their syrup being sold in the entrance!I got these two leather earrings made in Townsend! They were $6 each and so cute. I got a red and brown one!The pancakes were extremely delicious; golden brown, their maple syrup was unique, and their bacon was crispy and not too greasy. It was the perfect spot for breakfast!”

“A cute little ice cream shop serving both hard and soft ice cream. I had a chocolate peanut butter twist which was very good. My bride had a non dairy blueberry pancake ice cream, which she thought tasted just like a blueberry pancake. My mom had a coconut soft ice cream. We all were happy with our selections.”

“As always, the ice cream is great. Nice and creamy and plenty if it. There are plenty of flavors, combinations of flavors, and plenty of choices on how you want your ice cream--shakes, sundaes, flurries, cone, dish, etc. Employees are friendly and competent. Also the line went quickly. You know it's good when the drive-thru line is all the way around the parking lot because they know it's good ice cream. The line goes quickly because they have employees taking orders while people are sitting and waiting so when they get to the window to pay, it's ready for them. “truly a spectacular bakery! filled with warmth and loving bakers, this bakery creates by far some of the best baked goods we have ever had! the creativity is so fun and the prices are very reasonable especially for what you get! you can taste the immense amount of thought, hard-work, and love that goes into not just the recipes, but each individual treat. every baker in there feels like a big hug as they pack up transcendent cupcakes, indulgent cookie burgers, decadent breads, fudgey brownies, and so much more. we adore following their live updates on facebook so even on the days we don’t get a treat, my day is still made extra sweet! please visit this wonderful small business, i can’t sing it enough praise!!! to name a few i personally have had the pleasure to enjoy; halfmoons, latte cupcake, apple pie cupcake, pumpkin spice cupcake, churro cookie, carrot pecan cupcake, mint chip brownie, etc. —all absolutely fantastic!Dietary restrictions: they tend to have some sort of dairy free/gluten free treat everyday if not many, they often have nut-free options as well i believe.Parking: public parking, restaurant parking, street parking, and bakery parking all surrounding the location—very convenient!!Kid-friendliness: owner has kids and and they bake with kids in mind!Wheelchair accessibility: large double door entrance without a middle beam, street sidewalk on one side of the road has some strange tilts but from the parking lot next to the building it should be a flat cement path to the inside where there are two waiting lobbies, one with large corners and some counters and tables. cashier and sweets case is straight ahead with clear cases and noise levels tend to be on the lower spectrum.”

“Amy was our waitress-she was fun, attentive and relatable. We made a reservation and did not have to wait for our table. Drinks came fast, food was appropriately timed from salad to entre. I had the NY Strip-and it was huge & cooked to perfection. My friend had the pork chop and was sizable and delicious! Get the peppercorn gravy-it's amazing! I am in the area annually and would definitely come back here!”

“This place is freakin' incredible. Their beverage selection(including fresh, hot coffee) and deli are both very solid, but what I love the most is the breakfast pizza on Saturday. “Just a local hot dog joint, but fun atmosphere with vintage signs and toys all over, many taking you down your childhood road. Your order is cooked to order and came out hot and yummy. I had hotdogs with meat sauce and we also ordered fries and homemade pasta salad. As I said basic but good home cooked food, a plus was talking with the owners who were a great couple. Can't wait to go back!!”
