Upstate is littered with places that just make beer. Only some of them do it with soul - this is one of them. The Meco IPA is a fantastic spin on a West Coast style, and although I usually skip lagers because they're boring, the House Lager here is incredible. The secret cider is also next level. Fantastic people, too, and no trip here would be complete unless you meet the brewery pup, Olive.
A very rustic brewery in the middle of nowhere, I was quite pleased with my random stop. I did a flight and my favorite beer of the four was "You Should Be Up in a Tree Brown Ale". They have a barrel full of peanuts that sits in the corner of the bar should you feel the need for something salty and crunchy to go with your beer.
