“Ice cream is great! Food?.........well, I paid $14.00 for a chicken side salad that contains fresh lettuce..everything else, chick peas, black olives, salsa and corn, is from a can or jar. The chicken is a frozen chicken patty. They way I see it is I tried it, didn't like it, and I know what they do well and I also know what they don't do well. Overall good staff and, as I said before, great ice cream! Leave the food for the year-round places.”

“I walked in and placed an order after reviewing the menu. Almost too many choices to choose from. This is a very popular takeout restaurant. Many people had called ahead and we’re waiting to pick up their orders. There were no diners inside, but that didn’t seem to bother anyone. The couple behind the counter, cooking and taking our orders were very professional. The food was excellent, the portions were very generous, and the prices were reasonable.”

“A few years ago a former Yelp CM led tours of Soft Serve places in the greater Albany area. We never got as far north as Queensbury which is too bad because Martha's blows away all others. First, the custard is dense for a more satisfying experience. Second, the portions are huge. Third, the flavors are amazing. I got a medium with half raspberry/chocolate swirl and half salted caramel and skipped dinner after. Be aware that not all flavors are available every day, but if your favorite is not on order you can order it as a "cookie" (presumably like an ice cream sandwich). We were there on the way back from the eclipse, so early season and only two windows open. Even so the line moved quickly. They seem to have 2 people assigned to each window: one to take the order and handle payment and the other to fill the order. It's a good system and better than the vast majority of seasonal ice cream places that take forever.”

“Excellent salad bar. Husband got ribs and he enjoyed them.We were told we could only sit in the bar area, which was dark, of course. Seating by the salad bar looked wonderful, but we couldn't sit out there. Not sure why, since there was plenty of seating available.”

We had four kids with us and MIA couldn’t possibly have been more kid friendly. The owner truly treats his customers like royalty. Not just the atmosphere that is welcoming; the food was amazing. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, a meatball calzone, spinach Stromboli, salad, and a variety of two dozen wings. Everything was off the chart in flavor and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend MIA Pizzeria to anyone coming into the Lake George/Queensbury area. It is 100% worth the stop for a wonderful family meal together. Would give it more than five stars if I could!”

“The ice cream here is very good. I like that they have kiddy cones and the flavor variety and novelty of flavors is really great. However, like everyone else said, they are severely understaffed so you will have to wait a long time to get to the window if there is a line. Even worse, the ordering system is to queue behind each serving window, so if you step into the wrong line prepare to be severely bitter as you watch people in the other line who came 10 minutes after you get served 15 minutes before you. Why not set up a ticket system like at the deli? That would be much more fair. I'd only recommend stopping by when there's no line.They have parking, but you might not get a spot during peak times. Covered outdoor seating is available.”

“This is a class "A" country eatery generally known a the General Store. Friendly, country service and never heard anything but good about the quality foods served here. After several stops I have upgraded service to 5 stars as this is just a "country diner" and not a fast food delivery. Don't stop here with no time to chat.Consistent quality !”

“Went there last night, we had hot wings and a pizza. The wings were delicious, the pizza was good tasting, but the crust is very dry, which could use some improving. We both had a Bloody Mary, they’re excellent! Very nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Would recommend this establishment. We’ll be going there again!”

“Truly the best burgers, fries & shakes around. ? Never disappointed in a 5 Guys ? when u want a real burger that doesn't taste like fast food, they really hit the spot. All the melty cheese & the perfect saltiness on the fries. Both the Cajun & reg fries are addictive. Good thing they always give u cup in the bag & then dump alotta xtra fries in there so there's always plenty 2 munch on. May not b the cheapest burger in town, but so well worth it when u hav that craving. They fulfill it properly. And saving the best 4 last, the shakes. Omg the shakes. I get either the PB or the banana & yes they will mix the 2 for u if u want. Soooooo good? This time I picked the PB, of course with whipped cream. It's worth the trip, just 4 a great shake. I have yet 2 meet a 5 Guys staff that wasn't courteous & efficient. The Saratoga location was great. Quick service with a smile. I can't recommend them enough. I was thinking about 5 Guys all week long & once again, they did not disappoint ?”

“I ordered French Onion soup. Unfortunately, it was way too salty. I'm not sure if it was just the cheese on the top or combined with the broth. I ate the cheese and a little of the broth. It still was too much.The rest of my food came out very quickly so there wasn't time to do anything about this.Later, when paying for my check, I mentioned the situation with the soup to the server. I was not looking to get a rebate or to not pay for the soup. I just wanted to let the kitchen know about it so they would not continue to serve it as it was.I was not charged for the soup.This was a nice gesture but not expected since I felt like I had eaten too much of it.I appreciate the handling of this.”

“We've been a few times and have also gotten takeout a few times. Their wings are juicy and crispy, sauces well. The friend chicken sandwich is incredible, with some top tier breading and an enormous piece of ultra-moist chicken. Highly recommend.$10 wing special for a full dozen on Mondays? No-brainer.”
