Have gone back many times and really enjoy the pancakes and shashuka. There are many vegan options or items that can be made vegan. Really cute spot.

I just left after meeting out-of-town family for lunch, and the food was AWFUL!. Most disappointingly, my Shakshuka was served lukewarm and WITHOUT eggs. That, after I had a long chat with my waiter about how I wanted my eggs prepared. In addition, despite being assured by 2 different people that it did not contain green, bell peppers (which I can't eat), bell peppers were right in there. The Challah french toast was thin, dry and over-cooked to a dark brown color. And, rather than coming with maple syrup (as per the menu), it was served with a cloyingly-sweet honey-guava syrup. So, if you are in the mood for inauthentic middle eastern food, are willing to chance eating ingredients that you can't tolerate, and like over cooked breakfast entrees, this is the place for you.

Great food and art exhibit, but reserve your table early

Nice patio. Service was 'relaxed.' Food was way overpriced for what was delivered. Cheese on filo dough for $18. Asked for refill of an Arthur Palmer, to go on an $80 bill; was charged $4.50 for a new one.

EDIT: I came back 2 years later and had their classic Mediterranean breakfast and it was wonderful. This place is one of my go to's and its always a pleasure going there.

The coffee is excellent. I had the pancakes and they were ok but I'll be going back there to try their more authentic Israeli options.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I waited more than 30 minutes for my food while the table next to us, which arrived later, had already received and almost finished their meal. The waitress never checked on us, but you are required to pay a minimum 20% tip up front. I can accept this if food is good but The egg scramble was steamed scrambled eggs that remind me a Dunkin donut… The pancakes were okay, coffee was good. Maybe their non-breakfast items are good since the reviews are generally positive, but I will not be returning

Had breakfast at Art Cafe. The terrace is very nice. Great atmosphere. Food was disappointing. I had the healthy breakfast. The scrambled eggs reminded me of free breakfast at a cheap hotel and the portion size of the yogurt was really small (vs the ordinary yogurt and granola portion size). The server was friendly but not very knowledgeable. Overall the place is nice but I did walk away quite disappointed.

Despite the great coffee, service is extremely not client oriented. I ordered cortado to go, after 10 min no one had even started preparing it (and I was alone at the coffee bar). I asked if anyone was making my coffee and was told, it's in its way. 5 min after, thw barista finally finished putting the glasses back to the shelf and made her way to the coffee machine.
It's the third time this month I'm experiencing such an awful service. I'm don't with this place. Doesn't worth it

Went for breakfast and sat outside. The vibes are immaculate. Staff is super friendly! I ordered the cappuccino and egg and cheese (with all the add ons). 10/10 cannot wait to go back.

The food is so delicious with eggplant. The place is amazing and popular for its reason. Because their food is delicious, coffee ☕️ is really really good, five stars service. The team is very organized to serve and definitely visit again!

My family and I have always loved coming to Art Cafe and supporting it, even though it was already on the expensive side. We understand the need for price increases, but seeing the pancakes now priced at over $20 per order feels unfair to the community. It was already a stretch for many, and this latest hike makes it even less accessible. It’s disappointing to see a place we enjoyed become out of reach for so many.

I love the food & coffee but have always felt that the barristers & staff were rather aloof and judgmental. I prefer other places in town that are more accepting.
