Delish! My hubs and I went for dessert and after dinner drinks one evening and the deserts were wonderful. The cheesecake was perfect and the fruit on it was amazingly fresh. We ended up back the next morning for brunch and sat in the sunny windows on a cold and brisk morning, you could ask for a better vibe.

I never, I mean never give a negative review of a restaurant. Not only did they not ask us what kind of water we wanted (just brought tap), the service on Valentine’s Day (also my birthday) was horrible. The drinks were severely watered down. The appetizers were lackluster. Then, get this…four of our party of five ordered filet mignon. They brought us flat, crappy sirloins instead and promised to “buy us a round” of crappy drinks to make up for it. They should have told us right away that they were out of filets and offered us a chance to order something else. The desert was good, but it was a little too late. Spent $600 on a crappy meal. Shameful and I’m sorry, but you lost a customer who loves French food and had it not been for the company and great conversation would have ruined my birthday.

Cozy restaurant for lunch on a cold winter day. The medium rare duck was perfectly cooked with a delicious raspberry sauce, glazed carrot, and a perfect potato gratin square. And the red cabbage! I would be happy with a plate of that to go. Great, friendly service, too. We'll be back.

Parking: I parked in the town lot across the street. After hours dinner time I did not see a requirement to feed meters.

We held a corporate holiday dinner for 11 people at Brasserie D last evening and it was wonderful, starting with a range of delicious appetizers, wine, and then fanstastic self-selected entrees and desserts that were over-the-top. The atmosphere was cozy, festive, and perfect for good conversation. In fact, no one wanted to leave -- we stayed for over 3 hours. Alain and his staff were attentive, friendly, and anticipated our needs at every step of the meal. It was a pleasure to work with them and we look forward to returning again. Thank you, Alain!

It took forever for our orders to get to our table. My husband ordered a lamb and it was raw. And the service wasn't good either. It felt that we were forgotten on the table, no water, no more wine was offered and one slice of bread. Too overpriced for a bad experience and okay food.

We arrived and sat down only to wait about 10 minutes as the servers as well as the owner walk by till we called for attention. Our bread arrived late and without butter. We were promised bread and butter once more and received none. The feeling was that the entire crew at restaurant didn’t care for us dining there.
Our first time in Nyack’s and we read about this restaurant that it was 4,3 stars… sorry but I give them 3. Onion soup did not have gruyere cheese, burger too salty and fries were the frozen ones. Apple tarte tatin sour… the only dish that was very good was the almandine trout.
