I bought some chocolates for a work party, and they were absolutely delicious. Everyone loved them! The employee was such a big help with working with me to pick out the chocolates and keeping within my budget!

This is the best chocolate shop I have been to in NY and they also have the best service. I look forward to going here every time I’m in town!

Cute store but the chocolate tastes old and musky it's a hard to describe the taste but they were not good at all. The prepackaged chocolates from other brands were good.

Absolutely vile!!! Would stay away from this place the chocolates in the case taste like old mold, we all took one bite and had to immediately spit it out. Over priced and disgusting would STAY FAR AWAY!

if you’ve ever smelt a basement/bathroom riddled with mildew— then you already know what these chocolates will taste like. stay away

Store clerk was nice enough and the store is very cute. However, the chocolate in the case was disappointing- it had a dusty taste to it. It’s hard to describe. The prepackaged chocolate bars were fine. Nothing special though.

Stale and not great chocolate. Bought the 12 piece mixed sampler. Disappointing and not worth the price. If you are selling supposed high end chocolate get it off the floor after its been setting around two months.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience here. The shop itself is cool with unique chocolate/gifts. The actual chocolate from the case, however, were disappointing. We purchased chocolates with cookies and cream pieces on top and ended up throwing them out. The cookie pieces were definitely old/stale. Multiple people tried a bite and we all felt that something was wrong with them and agreed they were inedible. We also purchased some peanut butter cups and chocolate covered marshmallows that were average, at best.It might be OK to purchase the prepackaged chocolate/gifts from here, but I can’t recommend any of the chocolate in the case.

Way too expensive!! Krause half the price "and" the best quality

Great chocolate and candy shop. Everything is packaged in great bags and boxes. The owner puts a lot of work into the packaging to make it perfect for gifts. The prices may seem high, like 10 chocolate may be $20, but it's still worth it. Most of these high priced chocolate cost a lot and are shipped 3000 miles so high prices are expected. Most of the US-made chocolate and candy is very similar in price to any other store.

Love this place. Been coming for years! Great for gifts and getting myself a treat! Love the hard to find stock, especially gingerbread cookies in the fall.

Great customer service! They are so helpful, polite and sweet. The variety of items in the store is amazing. From tea, to lollipops, fudge, cookies, hot chocolate. Great secret!

Tree of Chocolate is, by far, the best chocolate store I have ever been to. In my humble opinion, their Belgian dark chocolate raspberry filled candy is significantly amazingly wonderful. Many of their other Belgian pieces are stand out delicious, too. It is worth the trip to Nyack to visit the store to buy their superior Belgian chocolate. I am a fan.
