The food was pretty solid, but the service was a bit questionable. My friends I are were served by who we assume to be the owner, and he was very condescending to us as a table of young women. He CLAPPED at us and told us to “pay attention to the table” when we were having fun and clearly in the middle of looking at some pictures we took for our friend’s birthday. I’ve never had a waiter so rudely butt into a conversation like that when I was out with friends or family EVER. Also some of the prices of extras on the menu need to be updated. I don’t have a problem paying what things are worth, but I would like for prices to be updated so we are prepared for when the bill comes, as that was a huge factor we considered when picking a restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday.

The food was amazing, hands down. Won’t be speaking of that here. The service though, was questionable. The man who served us was extremely rude and kind of creepy- we believe he was the owner. The rest of the staff were very sweet and accommodating. There were a lot of hidden/additional fees that we were not told about, along with certain prices not being entirely accurate to the menu. For example, we were served Saratoga (12 dollars each) without asking nor was it indicated to us that it would be 12 dollars per bottle. I don’t think we’ll be coming back just because of our experience personally, but the ambiance was very classy and romantic.

Absolutely loved our dinner at Dolce Vita! 🌹Cozy, welcoming vibes and the kind of attentive, friendly staff that make you feel right at home. Every dish was fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor — just one small note: a touch more salt across the board would elevate everything even more. (Basically every dish needed salt although was still divine) Still,it was amazing experience overall. 🥗🍝We’ll definitely be back!

The #1 Italian restaurant in Rockland County is Dolce Vita, formerly ODs. I love everything from the Angus bistro burger to the penne al la vodka, the rigatoni bolognese, the chicken parm, and the incredible sea bass. Service is always on point at Dolce Vta.

Delicious food especially branzino. Outstanding service from moment I called and need to move my reservation time due arriving late, to the service at the restaurant when need to change table. Very friendly atmosphere weather siting at the bar or at the table. Definitely go back again try /taste different food
