I hate giving such an awful review to a place I have known and loved for so long. My family and I have been customers of Harry’s for years and now we won’t even order from here. I don’t know what happened to the food, but it does not taste how it used to and no longer is good. I never write reviews but it makes me so sad to see this wonderful place change. I’m hoping the owners can listen and bring back the old food and chef instead of getting defensive. This place was such a gem and I miss it a lot. The enchiladas I ordered last time were not only small, but they were bland, had barely any sauce on top, and the vegetable filling was really disgusting. I couldn’t even finish the food because I just did not enjoy the taste at all, and this was a place where I used to lick the plate clean. I miss it, and I miss Harry’s. I’m sorry to say that me and my family are no longer customers.
New management ruined what was once Harry’s Burritos. Taquitos are not a chimichanga. Fries with burritos? Won’t return. We come every new years and were disappointed.
This place use to have the best chimichangas and margaritas in town but now the establishment has been sold and Harry's is nolonger your Cali Mex style food but now your basic boring Mexican eats you can get anywhere. We ordered a burrito and it was nothing special . In fact, it came out of the kitchen wrapped in aluminum foil with french fries on the side . It's definitely not worth $15 . The waiter, a bearded chubby man is by far the rudest in the west! He'll definitely ruin your experience and we've known this guy for a long time and he always has the same attitude . I've been coming here for many many years and my gal I used to just tolerate him because the food was good but now that Harry's is no longer it really makes him stand out. Don't waste your time there! It's really unfortunate that this place decided to change it's menu and ambiance because of the neighborhood. Hipster city!
This is no longer Harry's Burritos it has changed to Pancho Villa. Went for my daughter's birthday and we were very disappointed. The waiter was nice, but the food was lacking.Really miss Harry'
Food is good. But not a good hot sauce
Seems overpriced for what you get which is a whole lot of fill in their burritos, tons of rice, and not a lot of protein. Also, the wait staff if nice but they always seem uncoordinated with no sense of direction; like management has never served at other places before.I hope one day they step up their burrito game though.
I was there about a month ago for a decent brunch and then again last week for dinner that wasn't good. The appetizer we ordered were good but the entrees weren't. We were told to be careful because the plates were hot and they were but our food was warm at best. The "melted" cheese was barely warm as well as the filling and to make matters worse, the slices of avocado on my entree showed signs of being overripe. We were very disappointed because this was one of our go to spots and we were one of only 2 tables filled at the time.
Burritos & Enchiladas always on point!!! If you love mexican food this is a spot you must stop in while strolling through this town!!!
Went to Nyack on a summer Tuesday for lunch. Very few restaurants were actually open. Luckily we happened upon Harry's Burritos, which has outdoor seating where dogs are welcome. Our pups received a fresh bowl of ice water immediately. We had the shredded chicken tacos and burrito and fried plantains and ice cream for dessert. We had a good lunch!
During the Nyack Jazz Festival, we stopped by Harry Burritos for brunch. It was the perfect size portion accompanied by a Mimosa on a Sunday afternoon.

I really enjoyed the Sante Fe salad here. Fresh ingredients and tasted soooo good. The staff is wonderful and they are very accommodating for people with food allergies. This is my new go-to spot when I visit Nyack. ❤
Food was terrible! Portions are small, left there afterwards got some pizza because my wife and my daughter were still hungry. Ice tea was watered down, What a waste of money!
This place was a gem and it's going downhill fast. The owner should do himself a favor and bring back the chef that was there all these years and add some actual Mexican decor. Everyone is complaining in town. The sweet girl always behind the counter plus the chef, gave such a warm welcome - now, the new staff fits the new vibe that no one cares about. $14+ solely got me a very small burrito (4-5inches) that was stuffed with just rice and barely any of the not so great beef that I paid extra for. The amazing signature beef sadly isn't the same anymore. I also thought I would have regular salsa plus, the verde I asked for ...and maybe a side of beans at least. I thought all of that must be included for this price. None of that. Really disappointed with the portions and whole experience. If it wasn't so good in the past, the rating would be 1star. You don't have an atmosphere to lean on here it was only operating for the once stellar food and flavored margaritas. Everyone will instead go down the block to CDS when the food was never as good there, but at least there's music and drinks drawing the people in. The new menu is also now tiny and unimpressive. Do the town a solid and listen to your customers that will keep you operating - bring back the former chef, counter girl and cut the cheap nonsense. They are what made it feel like home. Make some changes or, you'll be closed down within the year. Way too many great spots around to now feel like you're settling on this choice.
Love coming here. We are friends with the whole wait staff. Food is pretty good. There is a new owner and the menu has been updated. Try it out. Located in a historic part of South Nayack.
Great customer service. Awesome new rennovations. I wish the best for the employees.
