Saturday Morning breakfast at a Diner? Why not? We made the scenic drive to Nyack and found this fantastic little spot. Friendly from the jump, we were seated right away in a cozy booth. It was busy but all I saw were a sea of happy faces. This place is doing something right. We will be back!

I really want to like this place, as it is local and I love diner-type food...the variety, etc. I've been here many times because the food can be really tasty and the prices are fairly reasonable. But more often than not, they find a way to disappoint me and ruin my meal. Last night, I ordered the chicken francaise, which I have enjoyed in the past. It comes with a nice salad and garlic bread, both of which were fine. The main plate followed, and while the mashed potatoes and veggies were hot and tasy, the chicken dish had what seemed to be no more than a tablespoon of francaise sauce...and the chicken was lukewarm at best. It had to have been sitting there in the kitchen for at least 10 minutes. There is no excuse to serve cold food in a diner. It just speaks volumes to a lack of effort or competency in the kitchen. It went back and they warmed it up, put on some more hot francaise sauce, but by then I was just so disappointed. It pretty much ruined what should have been a pleasant dining experience. And let me add that their portions are not diner-like. They are often really quite skimpy.

Stopped here for some lunch, while on a road trip. The reviews were excellent but the food was just meh! Friendly service but I would have pick another diner if I knew the food would be so flavorless.

I took my son there for breakfast and tje waiter Arturo is very impatient and thinks he is an auctioneer. You can barely understand stand what he is saying. Anyway when we went to order my son told him he wanted the farmers breakfast. The waiter did not even ask my son about how he wanted and just started writing down pancakes when my son wanted French toast. I stopped him and corrected him and told him he should ask and not just assume what people want. So he wrote French toast next to the pancakes. I made my order and when the food arrived. He brought out pancakes, when we called him back because he was in to much of a hurry to leave I told him my son ordered the French toast. Now instead of thos waiter apologizing and correcting the order. He tells my son so your going to keep the pancakes and Badgers him to eat them instead of the French toast that he ordered. My son was embarrassed by his badgering and just said fine to get the guy to leave. Then when I told the manager when we were paying she didn't seem to care either that they have a pushy used car salesman for a waiter and didn't even apologize for are awful experience there. Needless to say I didn't leave a tip and I won't be going back again after that.

Ate there several times. We went for brunch on Father's Day, so it was busy; but we were seated quickly and our orders were promptly taken as well. The food was very good. If you like salmon, get the Eggs Copenhagen : fantastic. I'd go there more often but, as I was only visiting , I'll have to wait until my next trip.
